Why don't black girls like interracial dating?

NOTE * This doesn't pertain to the few black girls on here who are on a mostly white forum who like men of other races
Anyways
I have a few black girlfriends and whenever white guys hit on them they always give them the cold shoulder.

I noticed how they're never so mean to black guys when one hits them, but they straight up give the stank face to or simply ignore white guys.

I asked why and one straight up said she doesn't think race mixing is right, and that whites and blacks can be acquaintances but they shouldn't be mixing because it's diluting and polluting the black race and mixed kids always come out confused and lost.

So fucking racist. I stopped being here friend after that, but honestly I notice a lot of black girls simply don't like white guys at all.

Is this because of the past and slavery and rapes or is it because they just aren't attracted to them?

Asian and Latina's love white guys so why do black girls dislike white guys so much?

Different black women have different reasons.

A lot of them think like your former friend do. I'm mixed, and it seems like black females have always hated me. It's not like I've ever been told why, BUT now I see online more as an adult all these negative comments from blacks--particularly black women--about mixed blacks being messed up in the head or not really being black and that blacks need to preserve the black race by not marrying out, among other complaints or hatred towards mixed and light-skinned blacks.

That said, even though I am mixed, I wouldn't date a white American. The whites in my family are not American. So, I think a lot of black people assume all whites are the same and eliminate them all, but I know white Americans are different and would not, at this point, date one. I would consider a white person from elsewhere, but I still wouldn't prefer it for different reasons than not wanting to date white guys from my country.

My top reasons:

1) Every time I am directly hit on by a white guy, it has something to do with sex. This leads me--and a lot of black women--to believe they're not actually interested in *dating* us, especially given how black men talk about us and date out more and more, and how society tells us we're less attractive than other women. It's VERY hard not to be suspicious of a white man even if he approaches you the right way, but when it's stuff like a married white guy asking for a friends with benefits situation (he lied about being married, so I didn't know when he approached me but I found out on Facebook) or a white man coming up to me at a hotel talking about liking black women, like he's hinting he likes me, and then bringing a black prostitute back into the hotel with him... um, NOT helping lessen the suspicion.

2) I preferred whites when I was younger, but not only did white guys NOT like me then, they would OPENLY say stuff like, "Black people aren't attractive." It affects things, and I'm not going to continue wanting to go out with a group of people that seems to openly think I'm unattractive. They're asking me out now that IR and "exotic" women are more trendy? Sorry, too late.

3) I'm not interested in being offended, explaining racial things to him or finding out he's a closet racist down the line. I've had white best friends, and when you're close to whites as a black person you will, at the very least, have racial misunderstandings, and, likely, will end up offended, too. I don't want this in a relationship.

As one of the girls who like white men, take what I say with a grain of salt right now because I'm gonna spit up something I've heard a few times.

They are against interracial relationships because in a way they were kind of conditioned to. Not by being racist though. They are told from a young age that men or other races will never truly love them because of their dark skin and hair. They would always find them second to a woman of any other race and would never fully respect them like other women. The only men who could truly love them are black men because they have the same features. Doesn't help how the pretty girls in magazines are always white except for the ones with European features. So when they are older it's kind of in their head that a guy of a different race won't be fully interested in them unless it's a fetish. Or if he does seem to actually love her he would never marry her, so why take the risk of being heart broken. That's just what I've seen be told to them from since I was little, and I'm sure it doesn't apply to all black women. It could be just a preference or they subconsciously might think that and not really know. But this is just from my experience.

I personally prefer not to be with a white guy as a black woman. White men and black women have a history filled with racism, rape, and abuse and I would just feel some type of way about being with a white guy. I feel that it would be disrespectful to my ancestors. That's why I generally don't like white guys romantically. Also generally I don't find many features that white people have attractive. Any other race of people don't have that kind of history with black people (with the exception of Native and mixed Native and white people who also owned slaves to a lesser extent in North and South America).

I think there is a lot of hypocrisy in some black families when it comes to interracial dating. I have a male friend who is black and when he dated a white girl his family was completely supportive of it but her sister told that her dad told her that she is not allowed to date white guys. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind that is, maybe they think that white guys are all racist and evil or something, maybe it's just the old fashioned racist attitude where you don't want "your own women" dating other races. And of course I realize that not all black families are like this, not even close. But what I've heard from other people and even read online this seems to be more common than people might think.

Those girls have good heads on their shoulders. They're right about race mixing, and you should follow their lead.

On top of history, and the racism that still lives on between whites and blacks; Serious relationships are stronger when people date within their race. That goes for EVERYONE, and that is statistically supported.

Plus, black women have been report to be the least desired race for white men. 9/10 when a white man approaches a black woman it's because he has a fetish for her. Your friends understand that. Don't let the lost and desperate girls on GaG fool you.

I'm not racist because I don't want to date white. I don't have a problem with white guys who are cool and I even think that some are cute, but I don't see myself dating outside of my race. I was just raised to have a black family. I'm not MEAN to white guys who hit on me, but I am polite about the rejection and I never say race is the reason why. Also society is a big reason why too. 1 white guy may be cool but his family and peers may not be. I dont want to have to dodge racist/ignorant comments and have to deal with an uncomfortable environment because I'm black. A lot of whites are still racist, so while that guy you're dating may be cool, what about his family and friends? I'm really close to my family and friends so it would suck not to be close to his just because we have to distance ourselves from the racism.

I believe some black girls ignore white guys because they're not attracted to them, that's all. Just like there are white guys who are not attracted to black girls.
But, it might also be because of the slavery and rapes. Some black women cannot get past that, which is understandable.
There are also the problems they might face if they date a white guy, so they don't want to deal with it.
Anyways, people like who they like. Black girls are not forced to like white guys, just like white guys are not forced to like black girls.

It's both and neither some are so pro black their anti white preservation of the race and all that jazz sleeping with a white man would be the betrayal to their ancestors who were forced to do so and some like me do not find white men attractive which is not racist it's a preference I am fully aware white men are handsome my father is an handsome Italian man but I prefer dark skinned men I love how our skin looks against each other I love their completion I love their features I love everything about them it doesn't mean I don't love my dad I am just not attracted to white men in a sexual way

I hear some black men that they would never be with a black woman because of the past but what I think is that people should let go of the past I know what they did to my people isn't right, but now they are not far from them because they are thinking like them in the past when a interracial couples they use to arrest the man and it use to be illegal let go of the past but don't forget and look towards the future and stop with the racist mentality.

some white people feel the same way, all races do really, they are proud of who they are and they don't want to diminish that by race mixing, you don't have to force your views upon them. there's nothing wrong about it, its a preference just put bluntly

I'm a black women and personally, I do prefer to date black men and I'm not so open to white men. the reason for this is because It's what I'm comfortable with... the music, the culture, the food, everything is sooo different when it comes to white people. That's my reasoning... not that I have anything against white people but when it comes to my dating-life, I do prefer black men. Everyone has a type... you can't fault your friends just because they don't like white men as that is their sexual preference :)

As a black woman I can say that it's possible those women just feel more comfortable around black men because they are familiar. I grew up in nyc and as diverse as it seems, I had very few white people in my high-school. I also am a bit uncomfortable being hit on by white men because I've had so little exposure to them in my community and even in my college. There's a lack of understanding on my part of their social norms and flirting patterns because it so seldom occurs.
