Me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years now, a year of that long distance. And I love him so much and I know that. But there's this guy at my new job that I can feel I'm getting a crush on, and that's all it is. It's just that he's really sweet one day we were joking around about me winning a gold star and I came back later and he had draw me a star with "AU" (periodic table) on it's chest and a smile, he even shaded the star and cut it out. I thought it was sweet, and recently he put me in one of his comics and in it he was talking about how at first he thought I was just a airhead bombshell, but how now he realizes that I'm actually really awesome too.

I feel bad 'cause I know it's just a silly crush, maybe because I feel lonely without my boyfriend around. But it would kill me if the parts were switched and he had a "silly crush" on another girl.

Best thing to do is just accept how you're feeling. Chances are it's just a passing thing and you'll get over it after a while. I've noticed a lot of people suffer from "new people" syndrome. You meet some one new, get close to them, and kinda like them, but it's just really the excitement of having some one new around to connect with, and really don't don't like them like that at all.

So give it time, a month or so, and if that feeling doesn't go away, or, worse, gets stronger, talk with him and/or your boyfriend about it.

That's what I was thinking too. It's always kind of throw me off when guys are super-charming, because I always went for the pompous jerks before, and they were never anything close to charming. Thanks for the advice!

you're not quite in love yet, as you are still interested if not seeing other guys...you might want to burn this temptation out of your system and figure out what you really want sometime down the road...you're probably feeling "out of sight and out of mind" for your LDR b/f, which questions your ability to handle LDR with this person at least for now
