Marriage in the 21 Century: Agree or Disagree?

Saw someone post this on another question and figured, would people agree with this?

Not all the time but it can happen and it does happen. If you don't like the risks of things turning out to be horrible after a marriage, then just don't marry. I still think that divorces that don't involve any children are better than those divorces that did involve children. Because I think it's easier for both partners to start all over again fresh if neither partner had become a biological parent.

I'd like to add I was the other guy Three Times, and each time the woman had hid from me her marriage or said she was already divorced. Then divorced became separated instead, and then separated was something she could decide in the fly... The other two were just dishonest sluts.

A lot of this can be avoided by finding the right person and not having kids. My standards are too high to just settle and I don't want kids. So not true for me.

Also, problems can't be fixed by getting into online dating. That'll probably make it worse actually.

I can totally understand why men would feel this way, but I think it is just because a lot of women (not all) are selfish and catty. It think it depends on the people tbh. Some marriages last, and some divorces have nothing to do with cheating. So it all depends

LOL was pretty funny can tell you that. Not always how it goes but I have never been married nor do I plan to so I dunno. I can tell you though, FB doesn't ruin any relationships, if you have a good relationship to begin with, you wouldn't have time for FB.

That wouldn't be me. If I had kids with someone and they tried to keep them from me or turn them against me, I would chop her up with an ax. Like 7 years later when I got out of prison At least I could see my kids once they were like 10 or 12. That would be better than never seeing them or having them turned on me.
It would be either equal custody or death. No exceptions.

I've seen that happen enough to agree, somewhat. But I've seen divorces that weren't so bad, and no cheating. And successful marriages. So like it depends. But I can understand the cartoon.

Seems to be going that way. A guy is literally playing Russian roulette with 3 bullets in A 6 shooter by getting married these days. The role of husband and father has no value in soceity and is often protrayed negatively by feminists, Hollywood and the media.

I think its a double edge sword, meaning on both sides this type of thing happens. I know for my brother in law, this sort of thing is happening at the hands of my sister as well. I think its probably due to all the media causing people to be so self-centered and sociopathic, making them not care about how others feel.

It would be quite a conclusion for someone to say that anything near all women are like this. I would think that it's very rare that you can take a template like this and prove it's accurate for a situation as complex as marriage, divorce and possible cheating.

Ignorance seems to be a great cause of tension between persons and people who say that that graphic is accurate seem to only be making the situation worse in doing so.

Everyone is living with each other before marriage and people don't realize the difference between that bond and living together. Kinda disturbing knowing that not many people want marriage anymore, because it's so much "hassle".
