Since people don't like to hear the truth, is it better just to keep quite and avoid drama if you know that person doesn't like hearing truth?

Generally people don't like hearing the hard truth no matter how you say it. So if I see or sense a person doesn't like to hear the truth about a situation or themselves, I have come to the conclusion to just let them go their way without telling them nothing to avoid drama, especially in person. I just don't see the point in arguing with someone that likes to believe lies anymore.
Its better not to say nothing and avoid drama and conflict.
Its better to keep telling them the truth even though they don't like to hear it.
