Why would Cameron Dallas send me a duet invite?

Yesterday Cameron Dallas sent me a duet request on Musical. ly. But why? He's got over 20mil followers and I am not exactly... popular lol. Is it for publicity? Does he do that to other people to or did he single me out for some reason? (Lol I don't know why he would single me out) Is it normal for celebs to send out duet requests to random people?

another reason I ask this is because I've only had the app for 3 days and am kind of confused about the whole thing.

Weird question ik, but I'm just pretty shocked. I had friends calling me shrieking on the phone all day after we did the duet.

ahaha same girl. It gets sent to almost every account. I have no clue why though, maybe just because he's famous? I was curious about that too, but then I realized it's nothing big.

The same exact thing just happened to me I got the app 3 days ago but I don't have any musicallys on there yet so I think that it's an automated thing on his account.
