Uh, I don't know how tanning or getting lip injections is stealing anyone else's culture because first of all: tanning is a natural occurrence in the white race so it's not exactly racist to tan if it... occurs naturally anyway? I'm pale as shit and my skin whether I wear sun screen or not tans slightly if I'm in the sun so it's not stealing someone's culture if my biology allows it to happen.

Also black people aren't the only people on this planet born with big lips and asses, I know white girls with natural big lips and natural big asses, , and not everyone who gets lip injections or butt implants makes fun of black people who have big lips, so... I don't get this either. Because some people have done so that means that all white people are automatically guilty for it?

Also I didn't realize there were dances that were "black only." Also, what's wrong if people want to celebrate other holidays? I mean how many non-Christians celebrate Christmas? I get the whole "if they want to deport immigrants" thing but not every white person does. Again this seems like a mass (ironically kind of racist) generalization.

This is ridiculous. I'd understand if some white person actually did black face, tried to claim to be black or stole and made a mockery of a traditional garb of someone's culture, but everything you explained here is not necessarily culture or race specific other than the holiday. Most of these are trends or irrelevant to culture and race. Is everyone who buys Brazilian hair extensions stealing someone else's culture? I don't personally think so. Is anybody who learns another language stealing someone's culture? No. Lol.

I think you could make this argument if people were going out and dressing up in traditional say, Native garbs and hollering war cries at people in the street as being offensive. But I don't think getting lip injections to look like Kim K is stealing anybody's culture. It's just a fad. Lol.

Honestly, I asked once why Japan structures are always so intricate and beautiful and ours are so... flat and bland and lacking decor.

It's because the western world treasures value for money while practically everywhere else will mix functionality with design, without considering the cost with as much serious thought as we put in.

So in this modern age, where it's easier to make something pretty for little to no cost, the western world simply does not have their own historical design choices to fall back on other than bland and boring and cost effective. So we reference other cultures in an attempt to spice up our own.

When it comes to everything else... Not a clue. I only researched architecture while trying to design a set for a Japanese play.

I thinks you're generalizing white people. First of all white people are like everyone else. They're different with different taste, values etc. Not all white people are racist and not all white people are thinking the same.

1. Tan in the Western society is a status symbol on someone are active or can afford a vacation on the beach so you gets a tan in addition to getting an exotic look. Therefor the look is popular. It hasn't anything to do with race and there's a lot of non-racist white people who respects brown people as much as non-brown people.

2. First of all people living nowadays isn't guilty in what people did in the past. Secondly usually it's not the same people who gets lip injection that mock black people's lips. It's often different people.

3. Same as number 2.

4. Where I lives it's not common for anyone to wear dreads. I've seen some white people wearing it and they aren't racist. Some of them are against racism too. They just likes the hairstyle and no races owns it.

5. Sometimes a celebration isn't only for immigrants, but is also common among citizen in a country. People who celebrate doesn't necessary want to get rid of immigrants. It depends on the person.

6. I doubt there's a thing like "black people's slang or dialect". Everybody who wants to join a group or who just likes the way of talking can talk with slang, accent/dialect etc.

Everyone should be allowed to try out new cultures and traditions, and it's natural to do so in a multicultural society. A certain culture doesn't belong to only one race and it's not like immigrants shouldn't be allowed to join a country's culture. I'm Norwegian and I follows the Norwegian or Western culture, but I'm an Asian. So do that mean I'm stealing "white" culture? I doesn't see it in that way. I sees culture and race as two different things.

Well, I am "Black" from a point of view, African-American specifically. And I would say "White" Americans in this society, have definitely borrowed from our culture. But we have borrowed from them also. I guess maybe the theory of race and the theories on "White" supremacy complicates things. You would wonder why any racist of any color would proceed to borrow from groups he thought to be inferior to his own.

But in reality, we are one big world culture. We have always borrowed, interbred, and mixed whenever we have come into contact with other groups of humans.

What do you mean steal? Like, use other cultures in very trivial ways? I think culture sharing is crucial for progression. Yes, certain aspects can remain private but I don't see cultures exploring other cultures as a bad thing. It can create a new culture. Culture isn't stagnant.
