Part of the reason is that the SJWs/Left hate Western Civilization and the Jewish people in Israel are a beacon of Western Civilization in the heart of the very dangerous Middle East. They are a very successful people who have created a thriving nation but the SJWs are offended by the necessary things the Israelis have had to do to protect themselves. As long as you have the Palestinians represented by people who pay the families of suicide bombers who murder innocent people there isn't going to be peace with a 2 state solution. Israel withdrew completely from Gaza, and within a very short time Hamas came to power there and began firing rockets deliberately aimed at population centers in Israel. You cannot negotiate with barbarians, you have to defeat them. The Leftist/SJWs don't understand that.

that's simply not fact. since 1972 Jewish people have voted for the democrat at a near 75% clip. in the last 50 years Jewish people haven't voted by majority for a non-democrat. the closest was in the mid 70s when they voted 55% in favor of democrats for major elections

Being critical of Israel is neither anti-Israel, nor anti-semitic. Israel's policies with Palestine is not all of Judaism. It is one specific phenomena, and clearly there are horrible problems between Israel and Palestine that need a solution. Suggesting there are ways Israel can change what they are doing is not the same as being against all Jews.

Some orthodox Jews (a small amount) are against it because they believe it says in the Torah that a Jewish state shouldn't exist. Also, one can convert to Judaism, but it takes an insanely long time. I read the average was something like 7 years

They do take it all these texts out of context and then use them for own political agenda. They say this because they believe there will only be a Jewish state when the Messiah comes. Once again, this is all down to interpretation and using specific parts of the books since other parts of the Talmud and Torah don't agree with those orthodox ones.
