No one is supporting hammas killing civilians. Let mw start by saying that I condemn their actions on oct. 7. Attacking civilians is wrong, period. That being said, the reason that is not the focus is because israel already has the world on its side acknowledging that attack was awful. Hammas is being held accountable for their crimes. Israel, however, has not been held accountable for their crimes. Any time the conversation turns to that, people immediately want to point fingers at hammas. We already ackniwledged that was wrong. That isn't the topic of conversation now. The real question is why can't you be consistent in your condemnation of attacks on civilians? If you and israel care so much about hostages, why do you support them dropping bombs over the heads of hostages in an effort to get revenge on hammas? Israel has already killed many hostages so far in doing this. Does that sound like a rescue mission to you? Or does it sound like a land grab and excuse for ethnic cleansing?
How many hostages has Israel killed? Bombing military sights that are located in civilian areas is a war crime but not for Israel but for Hamas. Israel is NOT prohibited from bombing civilians IF a countries ability to create war is in those areas. It is a crime for Hamas to put those civilians at risk. Do you realize Hamas, Syria, and Lebanon are continuing to bomb Israeli citizens every day? They didn't invade Israel, commit war crimes, then go home and call it a day. Hundreds of bombs are being launched into Israel daily, Israel tracks their incoming location and bombs it. Yes, civilians are killed but that isn't Israels problem. They have THEIR citizens to protect.
At some point, israel needs to be accountable for their decision to bomb civilians. They killed 22 hostages and thousands of civilians in the process of bombing hammas. They are more than capable of sending ground forces. They chose not to for a reason.

Israel does not have a right to defend itself because they are the occupying force in violation of international law. This is not up for debate. They forgo the right to self defense. Even though they withdrew their troops in 2005, they still maintain complete control over the Gaza strip. The UN general Assembly, the internatuonal committee for the red cross, human rights watch, amnesty international, the international criminal court, and the international court of justice all agree Israel is still the occupying force in Gaza. So everything they are doing is in violation of international law. They dont even have rights as the belligerant occupier because they aren't upholding their responsibilities. As such, they forgo those rights. The only people who have a right to use violence are the people in the occupied territories. Look it up.
