Liberals are against guns for some reason, so I think Conservatives would win. Plus, the standing military of the United States at least is predominantly Conservative.

It's ironic, too - in my experience (having worked for the Department of Defense), Liberals design the weapons and Conservatives use them.

It's a tossup. Conventional wisdom would say conservative. But, I'm guessing gangs would roll with liberals, and they have no conscious. The unification of bloods, crips, Latin kings and others using guerilla tactics would be an interesting combination 🤔

I hope it never gets to the point where we have a second civil war, but if it did, I'd bet my money on the liberals winning. Conservatives may have brawn and weaponry, but liberals have strategy and innovation on their side.

War is not simply a show of brute force. Tactics, strategies, intelligence and technology all play a huge role in determining the outcome. History repeatedly has demonstrated that inferior forces, who are armed with less capable technologies, have the ability to win wars when their leaders are equipped with accurate tactical and operational intelligence that they believe they can act upon.

The right have just as many resources as the left, that's why i said it doesn't make sense. If a cicvil war happened i just think a lot of people from both sides would die for stupid reasons.

It would be bleak on both sides. Conservatives by and large have guns and are typically more familiar or at least comfortable with combat if needed. Liberals on the other hand would probably have the power of some government agencies (since they're controlling the executive and most of the legislative branches) behind them to do the actual fighting (i. e. the FBI, DOJ or branches or sects of the military). Your typical armchair SJW would most likely brag but run from any real fighting. I think the real question is how tyrannical does the government need to get before the military supports insurrection?

I'm sure I don't know, but I will point out that many of the gun nuts i know are completely foolish when they talk about small unit tactics and what they'd do "in a real firefight". Real life isn't like CoD.
