Women and loaded questions?

OK, I've been dating this girl for a little over 3 months now, and she's pretty unpredictable as it is, but she just HAD to throw me one of those infamous LOADED QUESTIONS you women like to ask.

We're out somewhere and she just randomly asks me, with no warning, "Why do you like me?"

I know she wasn't insisting something was wrong, because things are great... she just wanted to know for some reason.

On the spot the only things I could think of were...

1. She's a strong woman, and doesn't let people get to her or see her sweat

2. She's pretty

After laughing at number 2, and saying I failed, I flip the question on her... which she just crushes in comparison.

1. I'm clean (no drugs, excessive drinking)

2. She believes I would never cheat on her

3. She thinks I genuinely care

4. Her parents would approve of me

5. I'm a nerd (yes, a hot girl that likes nerds, who knew?)

Well I feel kinda bad, because I wasn't able to give her much, but I can't help but think she probably was thinking about her answer before we even hung out that night.

Why do you women torture us guys by making us answer questions like this on the spot?

Don't you know it makes us feel like an IDIOT?

LOL sounds like me and my hubby. You're right, she had a head start on ya. We're not trying to make you feel like an idiot though. We DO like to know what's on your mind though and if you're one of those (again like my hubby) who seldom shares his thoughts it makes us have to ask!

I know that my hubby likes time to think and not to put too much weight into a short "first" answer. I'm sure if she knows you she'll see this but it won't hurt to tell her too.

It might make you feel that way. When I was dating I knew why I was with every one of them. There is no such thing as a loaded question if you are there for the right reasons.

Makes it real easy to be honest, and speak from the heart.

I mean I know why I'm with her, I just didn't make a list, and am not good at describing the specific parts of her personality that I like. If I had time to think about it, sure, I can come up with plenty.... but when we're driving to a movie, talking about stuff and suddenly she throws that question out of left field, while sitting there staring at me with a big grin on her face, makes it a little harder. She knew what she was doing, and she does admit that she like pushing my buttons.

We work from logic. Black or white. Fix it or kill it. Women use the whole box of crayons. Emotion is hard to relearn, but it can be done. She is looking for assurance from you. It's a part of just about every female on the planet. Expect the unexpected. It means she really like you if that helps. That kind of question is out on a limb if you see what I mean.

Geez. Just punch her and be like "thought I'd see how well you can handle pain... you failed". Not really but don't let a woman run her tests on you. They need to learn to respect their man or no good will come of them.

A lot of girls want to feel superior, so naturally she had her answer all prepared, while you were taken by surprise! You fell right into her trap!
