He deleted me off Facebook...

We were together for 3 years and broke up because he "fell out of love". We broke up a month ago, and since then I've been pretty good about getting over him, every so often I have a weak moment and check his fb, I don't say anything or post anything...

Anyways, he never really went of fb... but a few days ago he deleted everything I've ever posted on his wall (which left it empty), untagged every photo of him posted by my friends (which was every single photo)...

And today he took me off his friends list...

Last time we talked he said he'd call me back to see if he ever wanted to be with me again. Even though I know I would never let myself be with him, why does this make me so upset? Why would he take me off his friends list? is that at all helpful for people who break up? it just puts things in bad terms...

should I take that as a sign that he's never going to call me back?

Here is something you should forever remember: 'They always come back!' But with your ex, its a coping mechanism. He needs to 'flush' things out of his system. Its just so happens to be that he deleted you. Yeah its immature but its his way of getting over things. Seriously, give it some time. Let the two of you become better people and take it from there. Of course he is thinking about you! He is going to be doing that for a long time. The only way he wouldn't think about you is if he truly didn't care about you for those 3 years. Less is more. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. If you don't talk to him for a long time, chances of him calling you to say 'whats up' will be very good.

It's been too little time since you broke up, the wound is still open so deleting you from his life is an attempt to not think about you anymore because obviously it causes him to feel something, whatever it is, rage, love, it doesn't matter, he doesn't want to feel it anymore. You should let it go and he will probably come back to you in a few months, when both wounds have scarred and then you will be able to be friends.

My ex did the same thing to me..it killed me...but I have had no contact with him now for 3 weeks and he has tried to contact me here and there about random things...but for the most part I have found comfort in "If you love something set it free..." and "if it's meant to be it will be" 3 years is a long time ...it was 2 1/2 years for me so I understand...I believe our ex's still feel something for us on some level...they are just selfish right now...absence does make the heart grow fonder give it some time...

And he's the one who fell out of love, why would he be upset? Do you think its because I have a lot of recent photos of me having fun? All my girlfriends think its smart to post things on my wall about being single (which I find silly), but do you think its because of that?

Just because he fell out of love with you doesn't mean he doesn't still have any feelings for you at all. 3 years is a long time. If you want to truly get over him you need to just focus your energy on your own life and don't worry about what he is up to or what's on his facebook page. Treat him as any of your other friends.
