turkish a tough language but I think it's nice
Do you want to learn turkish?
turkish a tough language but I think it's nice
And this post is where Americans really show themselves to be ignorant people. No, I don't like Islamic countries, nor do I particularly like Arab countries, but shit, do you not know the advantages or learning a language?
Turkish:
Your brain becomes stronger --> Good brain training.
You'd know a language that most other North Americans do not --> International Companies that work with Turkey will especially value this («The Republic of Turkey is strategically located at an intersection between Western Asia and Southeastern Europe. The transcontinental nation shares its borders with eight countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Iran, Iraq and Syria.
Turkey shipped US$142.6 billion worth of products around the globe in 2016. That figure represents roughly 0.9% of overall global exports estimated at $16.236 trillion for 2015.
From a continental perspective, 54.8% of Turkey’s total exports by value in 2016 were delivered to other European trade partners. Asian importers purchased 28.8% of Turkish shipments while 8% worth arrived in African countries. At 5.5%, a smaller portion of Turkish exports were bought by North American importers.»)
You'll be able to communicate with foreign people, this isn't like talking with Australians, British. Maybe you know French or Spanish. This is talking to a person from a part of the world that we can't understand for shit, and those who we don't understand are those we cannot live with or without.
''Arab countries'' lmao, you seem to be someone who thinks Turkiye is one of Arab countries right? There were a lot of rumours everywhere about how Americans/Canadians are stupid, however I never believed that but as I see yeah thats true, you are all bunch of ignorants who doesn't know history and rest of the shit. You don't even have an idea where your ancestors came from since you all migrated from somewhere else, got mixed up with eachother and became something mongrel. First of all Turkish people aren't Arabs, we don't speak Arabic, we are not living in Middle East, we don't have Arabic alphabet, we don't have desert here.. we don't have shit connected with Arabs, our ancestors were Mediterraneans.. they were Anatolians whom were known as Trojans, Hittities, Phaselisians, Karians and our other ancestors were Turkic/Central Asians who migrated to Anatolia from today's Kazakhstan and around it. at least %35 of Turkish people ain't muslim aswell, and we are a Secular state not Islamic
But yeah you are right with other things, and I don't like Europeans/Christians too. I am not Muslim tho, I just don't like them cause of historical issues I know how my ancestors rekt them many times in history.
I never actually wrote "Turkey is Arab"...
I said I don't like Arab or Islamic countries much, and Turkey I believe is becoming more Islamic.
I know exactly where I'm from.
I literally never refereed to the language of Turkey as being Arab.
You had an empire, you came to the Balkans, killed people, raped the women, then converted the populations to Islam. Turkey only became secular with Ataturk.
And my great great great great grandfather fought in the Russo-Turkish war and.. well Turkey lost.
You maybe didn't say Turkey is Arab but since most of people from USA/Canada are ignorant as f*ck, I can expect you to think like that. Since you also started your words with ''talking about Islamic&Arab countries'' first then connected your subject to Turkey, like we have a connection with ''f*ckin Arabs'' ... its normal for me to guess it.
About Turkey is becoming Islamic, well %50 of our citizens didn't want Erdogan and his ideology in last elections, yeah Erdogan is trying to covert our country to more Islamic but there are a lot of non-religious people like me in Turkey, also there are a lot of haters around against Erdogan and his ideologies, We will fight if Erdogan tries to do shit like that.
Heh, killed people and raped women? If we did that all of Balkans would be Muslim now, we never forced anyone to be Muslim otherwise we were still ruling the half of Europe. Funny its coming from the guy who has Russian ancestry.
Since Russians killed thousands of Germans, Polish, Jewish, Cossacks and Tatars who lived in their country for centruies. Also we can't deny that, Russians are responsible of murdered Azerbaijanis, Tatars and Muslim people in Balkans back in 1912, since they supported Bulgarians to do it. Just a typical weak Western mind and stupidy, you are blaming Turks cause of ''raping, killing, murdering'' but I bet u never read a single thing yourself, these are just things you heard from your dad, uncle, grand father or from your penny friends. Ottomans were only taking ''cizya'' from christians whom were living under Ottoman rule, and there was also a ''devshirme system''. Ottomans never killed anyone for fun, unless ''they rebelled'' and wanted to get their independency. About Turkish-Russo War, oh yeah u know Turkey lost on 1878, maybe you should read about battles too such as Battle Of Prut. Also the reason how Russian Empire got fucked on WW1
We kicked Allieds ass in Battle Of Gallipoli, we blocked their way to Russia so they couldn't get any support against rebels and they get f*cked in their own shit hole. During 1800s, Russians won most of wars against Ottomans cause Russia was always supporting ''Pan-Slavism'' idea which means, uniting all of Slavic nations under one rule. Since most of Slavic Nations were being ruled by Ottomans these days, they provoked these nations to revolt against the Ottoman Empire and thats what they did. On 1878 Turkish-Russo War, there were like 1 million Russian troops along with Serbians, Romanians, Bulgarians and Greeks against 360.000 Ottoman troops. Even in this situation, Russians were stopped at Plevne for about 6 months and gave huge ass casualties, but since they had a lot of menpower, they bringt more soldiers and captured the village. About battles happend on 1700s, they were more head to head maybe you should read about Austro&Russia vs Turkish war 1735, see how Ottomans rekt both
@WhatChuLookinAt Russia won more times against Turkey than the opposite happening.
I have no problem with Turks, I have a Turkish friend for example.
I also don't hold the Balkans over Turks because it was under a different governmental system.
And what about a million Armenians during the Great War?
Would you like to do a 1 on 1 face off between Russia and Turkey now?
they are not opening
Turkey banned imgur dude

Captain, you need to lay low for a while. We've got this.
@ asya_güneş do you think that you're too god for us or something?
@Schrodingerscat Lay low b-but I'm almost level 2, I can't restrain my power
I don't see why I wouldn't want to learn it, nothing wrong with learning a new language. Priorities are just somewhere else, can't be bothered to allocate my attention on Turkish. So right now, not really. In the future, who knows?
how is it heard in turkish laguage?
turkish language is rough?
@asya_güneş
I don't know whether Turkish is hard to learn.
phonetic perception?
@asya_güneş
Don't know, right now not too interested in Turkish. I imagine reading it phonetically is easier than Hebrew, since it has a normal alphabet.
I'd rather invest my time in useful languages like French, Spanish or even Italian.
every language is useful
I speak Dutch and I don't find it really useful. It helps me learn German easier, and It might come in handy when visiting South Africa where they speak Afrikaans, (it's closely related to Dutch) but I'm guessing they speak English pretty well there, too. So pretty close to useless. What am I with Turkish outside of Turkey? I'm guessing a lot of Turks know English as well, and even then, Turkey is a small part of the world. At least Spain is spoken by 390 million native speakers, and many of them don't understand English that well in South American countries, and French is still a lingua franca in parts of Africa. Italian is beautiful and can help me learn both of these languages. What does Turkish do for me? Not that much.
I did not see anyone who regretted learning Turkish
What were the pro's for them that made it worth for them to learn Turkish?
By the way, I might add that I'm from Belgium. The country where the beautiful Hadise grew up in. Because of her I've discovered Turkish pop songs, and I think the Turkish language is really awesome. I just don't think it's worth my time and investment. Learning a language takes a lot of time and effort.
learning a language is like learning a human
I know 4 languages
I want to learn arabic
What languages do you know? And would you like to learn Dutch? I highly doubt it. Learning a language is definitely an enrichment, but we have to carefully select which one we would like to learn because there are so many of them.
german, English, turkish, kurdish
Nice, I speak Dutch, English and a little bit of French. although Turkish is nice, I'll probably learn Chinese over Turkish because I enjoy usefulness in my language. It's nice you have a passion for languages though.
@asya_güneş i can help you with arabic if you want.
@Ragnar_luthbrok how
@asya_güneş it's my native language and i know English. you do to. So it can be done.
lol 'how' did he really have to clarify that for you? :P
I want to learn it but I want to learn from a native speaker. Not like that online things. If you agree to teach me, just like fun, I will learn it for sure 😀

What is the toughest part to learn in Turkish language?
adding
what is adding?
nope, it's not a language that really interests me and I don't need it so there is no reason for me to learn it
no thanks aşkim ;) i'm good I know french, Spanish and English ^^ I am currently learning Swedish
I know English, turkish, german and kurdish
Very nice ;)
please respect muslim because they human first like u!
Well if they started calling out those who commit terrorism in Europe and not just in the middle east, I'd respect them. However after every attack they try to make themselves the victim, so no. I cannot respect anyone following a religion which has around 20-30% of its followers as "extremist fundamentals" which means around 200-400 million Muslims who are willing to kill. Nty
no. i don't want to learn the language of the most fucked up country in the world.
