Once again, PLEASE do not get offended by this. This is just for people to voice their opinions on this.
Do you support LGBTQ?
Once again, PLEASE do not get offended by this. This is just for people to voice their opinions on this.
I just think we should stop giving an identity to people on basis of their looks, race, sexuality, gender, colour.
We tend to group people who have a common trait into one category and I think that is absolutely absurd. Being blind is not a blind person's identity. Being gay in not a gay man's identity
I support LGBTQ because the society I live in (i. e. my country) has not advanced in this issue yet. I think a movement is required to stimulate their upliftment of people who are isolated from society just because of their different biology.
But I do agree with some comments here about tolerating. It is because we often see on social media a radical form of LGBTQ support group. I don't think their approach to spread their message is psycologically correct. I dislike it when they make it an identity.
Its like that femininazism. Instead of giving a shit about "manspreading", teach people from a small age that gender is not a restriction, its just a different characteristic
Why should we stop giving people an identity based on these things?
Like.. the words you used for it litteraly all fit into an description of a person's identity.
Sure they are just part of your identity and don't make your identity as a whole
Like.. beeing blind surely is a part of his identity because it affects almost every aspect of his life.
@memyselfandiamhere but being blind is not a what a person is. I can't really explain it by words. I just read a couple of stuff and watched some foreign movies and that changed my mindset a lot about these stuff
So.. the person is not blind?
It is not all he is, but this is what he is too.
I know, don't think in boxes, because a person will never fit in this single box you but him in
Still these boxes exist and they are valid.
When I want to talk about for example a suicide rate among people I could simply say '5%' of all people kill themself. (Figurative number) or I could look into the differences
Like who kills themselves more often, men or women? Employed or unemployed? Homosexual? Heterosexual? Transgender? Child of divorce? Diabetic? Cancer?
Ofc a person isn't fitting into one category only. And I don't think that making a difference between all people (putting them in categories) is a bad thing to do. Cause it allows us to analyze a group or talk about an experience with a certain group.
But even if you do this, don't forget the individual.
Yes, I do, but I think we don't need a separate label for each tiny change in the fluidity of your gender.
I'm part of it, so sure. I'm pretty neutral to the whole thing though.
I absolutely stand for all of human rights including the queer community! I feel like it's not that hard to see human expression, feelings and emotions as fluid or on a spectrum.
This diagram is a great illustration

Also, medical professionals are accepting these diagnoses as legit.
Additionally, individuals who are born as intersex individuals (with ambiguous genitalia) are as common as redheads. And so we know genetic mistakes can happen where the body doesn't match the psychologically felt gender. (Although it is not just intersex individuals who experience this)
Doctors used to correct these issues by removing sexual organs and stuff to conform but have recently stopped as ambiguous genitalia pose no danger to people and removing sex organs creates infertility.
In feel like, instead of celebrating mass delusion, we should actually help those people.
An over 60% suicide rate.
It makes virtually no difference if it is pre or post operative and makes a 6% difference if the trans person faced discrimination or not.
So we have an over 60% high suicide rate (Wich is about the same suicide rate Jews had in Nazi Germany) and people are, instead of pressuring for treatments, pressuring for acceptance.
"Just accept the delusional person as he/she is, don't try to use medication or psychological treatments to fix a mental condition that almost always leads to suicide"
Sorry but you are completely missinformed!
Trans individual can experience several life changing events that are correlated with their elevated risks of suicide.
Ex: loss of partner, child, home, job or family support due to gender identity or being harrassed and abused.
The suicide rates decrease after proper gender reassignment surgeries have been done. However they still aren't as low as the general population because these individuals have still suffered and usually continue to suffer and are judged by society.
You compare their suicide rate to Jews in Germany... And these people were also treated unfairly just like the trans community. Is it that hard for you to see that all of these factors as well as a general sense of not fitting in with society can create these elevated risks?
First of, if you really think that the trans community gets treated anywhere like the Jews of world war 2 in Germany, then you are insanely delusional.
Also, the study of the Williams institute in January 2014, ALL your claims are at fault
The average person also has to go through all the stuff ya mentioned besides the gender dysphoria (ICD 10 - F64) and the suicide rate is not that high
Start using facts and figures lov
*(ICD 10 - international code of disease)
Absolutely delusional
Do I agree with them? No, am I forced to tolerate them? Yes. Am I the bad guy for saying I don't agree with homosexuality of any form? Yeah, because being the straight white male is a bad thing. Makes you a bigot almost in this world. But eh
No, being a straight white male doesn't make you a bad guy. Being a bigot makes you a bad guy
Sincerely, straight white males everywhere.
The thing is, people should be more like you.
I mean, at the end you don't have to agree or like everything.
But you accept it (because you have to but at least you accept that)

no because I believe they have an illness but I won't judge them
Well I'm not gonna judge them in person, but yeah they really do have an illness
yeah so basically an illness like mental retardation or downs syndrome
Because cancer patients die from it while gays are just gay and have a problem that they were born with, people shouldn't be attracted to the same sex because the natural anatomy and purpose of a human is to reproduce and you can't do that as a gay unless you get a donor
Honestly no. But I'm not gonna condemn someone for choosing to be apart of that community. I'm not gonna call them out as "sinners" either.
No. It goes against my Catholicism
@SDEDDELVC2785 I'm a Christian.
OK. I can only tell you I respect everyone.
People can live their life like they want to.. but I am not going to march for them.
I support them in the sense that I believe they have the right to do whatever the f#ck they want.
I just dont get it, why I should support LGBTQ people more than normal cis people. I treat everyone the same, if that makes me a biggot, I honestly dont care.
I always, my answer on this topic depends on where:
I fully support it and it's development, rise and spread in countries that I consider either rivals, competitors or outright enemies.
Obviously I completely oppose it in my country.
Support in what way? I support everyone's right to equal treatment under the law and to have whatever kind of sex they want in their own privacy. Do I support it in an encouraging way? No. I don't encourage it.
I don't support it nor I'm against it. I'm completely indifferent, they're just like any other person and I'm gonna treat them like so.
Betting all the guys who vote "no" on this are the same guys that violently jerk off to lesbian porn.
Because is support gays and lesbians and Bi-sexuals.
I on the other hand don't support delusional and suicidal, selfharming people.
@memyselfandiamhere Huh? Confused how that has anything to do with the topic at hand.
Question was: do you support the Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-transsexual-queer community?
And my answer to this is, that I support Lesbians, gays and Bi-sexuals.
And not those people suffering from gender-dysphoria
@memyselfandiamhere Having gender dysphoria doesn't mean they're suicidal or self-harming. Unless you consider cosmetic surgeries to be self-harm, in which case boob jobs, lip injections, and that whole plethora would also be "self-harm".
Oh no, but people with gender-dysphoria like trans people have an over 60% suicide rate.
Wich is not caused by environment.
(Study from the Williams institute January 2014)
Is it just me or is this getting longer and longer
Why not just spell out the alphabet and be done with it
I for Intersex. And jyst now i figured its actually LGBTQI ALLY.

I think people deserve to love whomever they want without society stepping in. That being said, i don't think there should be parades for it.
iam indifferent to them
not against them but not supporting them neither
No I don't. I don't agree with homosexuality and I don't care what anyone says.
Ok, i'll bite the bait. Why not?
@seanwdragon There's nothing normal about homosexuality. Two men and two women doesn't make sense to me.
I mean, okay have your pov, but is there anything that could change your mind?
Guyana90, honestly while I still think that's a silly anwser, that's a better one than I expected (expected something like "bible says...")
I support lesbians and gays but the rest no. I also don't support 3rd wave femenism
I don't agree with. But I do tolerate it.
Question is quite vague
Yeah, why wouldn't I?
i'm not butthurt, so sure.
Nope.
I will say that I have seen people claim to support it when in groups, or at work with other co workers around, but then privately they actually don't.
They just didn't want to get harassed and that is why they claimed to support it. Or at least that is what they told me.
Nope
That’s gay
No I don't.
NO
. .
no i don't
Ugh yah
What's LGBT?
Lesbian gays bi transgender
