Guy texts me at 2 AM??

There this boy I am interested in, but I am not too sure he is interested in me...

Last night, he randomly texted me at 2am! He just said "hey, hows it going?"

He sometimes texted me randomly in the day asking how I am, but this is the first time he texted me at 2am.

What does this mean? Do you think he might like me?

Though occasionally someone can be an insomniac or thinking about you very late at night, which is sweet... the golden rule is this:

The overwhelming majority of the time texts after 1am are a *BAD* thing. At least from the prospective of a relationship. Texts late at night tend to lead to all sorts of deviant things. some bad. some fun. Often this is how booty calls start, so he may be priming you for a future attempt at one. Generally speaking, unless you're of the mindset that you'd want to randomly fool around with him without any real connectin in the future, ignore 2am texts. just answer them the next morning, as "nothing good ever happens after 1am". This phrase is so true that a few different sitcoms (im specifically thinking of "how I met your mother") have made entire episodes around the main character learning that phrase first hand.

Texting you at 2am is downright discourteous.

It means that it's more important that you meet his needs than that he meet yours.

This is not a good precedence.

Wow, you know its funny because I asked my friends about this, and they pretty much said the same thing. One friend actually said he was "high maintenance."

i think it means he was awake at 2am he had nobody to text or was bored with the people he was texting and thought of u..this could mean he likes you or he just wants somebody to talk to and your a good listener
