Guys, What does it mean when a guy texts you at 2am?

We are both Christians so I think sex is out of the question but one of my guy friends that I have a crush on and I will send each other memes and talk throughout the week, lately he has been sending me memes from either 12-2 am, I asked him why and he says he can't sleep and doesn't know why? what is up?

he could just like you as a friend but it sounds like he's giving you a lot of attention. if he prioritizes you over other girls then that's a sign he likes you. Try flirting with him more directly. Send him a flirty meme not just a funny one. and flirt in person if the meme went well (but don't overdo it). And if he flirts back you'll know he likes you. he'll ask you out. if he doesn't it'll be clear he only wants to be friends
