Why does he only text me in the morning?

he's a truck driver and told me he’s on the road Sat-Wed and wanted to know if I had time Thurs-Sat. It’s been hard to get communication off the ground given he only texts me in the morning or early afternoon. I assumed it was bc he’s on the road, but he’s off right now and the communication is the same. He claims to want a long term relationship but it’s impossible to get to know someone like that lol.

On top of that, he called me out for opening a text up twice immediately and not responding. One time in which I accidentally dosed off for an hour and the other time I needed an hour to finish what I was doing first. I just think it’s weird to press me about my communication when he is only making effort to talk to me in the early part of the day. Especially given that the conversations hardly lead to anything of substance

You can disable messaging on most phones, then he will have to talk. That is what I do, and it works like a charm.
