Why does he not texting me during the day?

Hey guys, im in talking stage with a guy. We are going to concerts, talking for 6 to 9 hours, listening musics and all when we are together. but after our meetings he is not texting me before I text him. When I text him he sends messages a lot and these are nice conversations but for example we texted each other yesterday at 7 PM it was end of a conversation and he did not text me yet... why? isn't he interested in me if he is, why am i always texting him?

aw ofc i dont always text him we text each other like in 6 hours sometimes even in 10 hours it doesn't matter, we are adults i dont expect and want anybody to always text me like teenagers, the only problem is i always ask about what he is doing or making the plans :(

So is he initiating conversation at all?

When i text him yes, and also when we are together individually he asks a lot. But he is not texting me the first message and im suspicious that if I do not text him he would text me or not now :(

I say you test that logic and not text him first a few times. At least 2 or 3. If he doesn’t initiate or you hear from him way less if you don’t reach out first then maybe he isn’t a good fit.

I’m sure you don’t wanna do that because you like him, but what you don’t want is to feel like you’re carrying the relationship or doing all the work. I also think it’s a great opportunity to see what sort of guy he would be in a relationship. Like does he have past trauma and now always going to hold back with his efforts when it comes to women?

Oh you re quite intelligent!! He broke up with a narcisistic partner 5 months ago, maybe because of that he has hesitations. And once he told me that we never talk about our status i wonder what you think about us , and i did not want to make him feel oppressed bc of that i said we can be friends first i dont wanna make plans about our future for now.. maybe because of those things I don't know
