My girlfriend believes in abortion, I can't stand looking at her face?

Question

2 days ago we were discussing politics and the topi of abortion came up and she told me she told me a woman mush have a choice to kill or keep.
Now i don't care if anyone is pro life or choice, but when a person close to me believes in abortion i get filled with rage.
I simply told her we're done, now she won't leave me alone sh's blowing up my phone and telling me she'll change her mind about abortion.
So my question is: has she actually changed her opinion or she's just saying that to get me back?
and should i take her back?

You shouldn't break up with her for having a difference of opinion. However you should talk about it, see why her stance is that way and explain your stance explain why it makes you so angry, explain why its so horrible in your eyes. Right now she will not change her opinion simply because you got angry at her, you have to explain the reasons, you have to convince her and show her why this is an issue for you, whether that be the fact that she is advocating for women to be irresponsible (since they have many other options to prevent pregnancy), or that its the taking of an innocents life, or that the thought that she could kill your child without your consent, what ever the reason explain it, let her think about it and then go from their. You do no one any good by simply cutting them out for having a different opinion if they just maintain that opinion with you being gone.

You sound like a grade A asshole (not saying you are most indefinitely one, but you sure are acting like it at the moment). Why are you so triggered that someone has a different opinion than you? You sound like you don’t care about your girlfriend if something so small leads you to trash her on here and to break up with her. Don’t let her go back with you. She deserves better.

I think that getting upset over one different opinion is rather dumb. And it's also dumb for her to change what she believes just to make you happy. Obviously she wasn't serious about her opinion in the first place if she is willing to change it so quickly. I think both of you are in the wrong a little bit.

I understand your point... but be careful of overreacting.

I know this isn't like most cases, but you're not exactly making a convincing argument for her.

Maybe you can explain to her that the reason you feel so passionately about this is because you see it as dead children instead of a political issue. And that you have moral objections with being with people who are alright with the intentional death of children.
Then let her make her next move.

You're an idiot, you are in the wrong.
Your girlfriend defended the right of a woman (not her) to have the CHOICE to kill or keep.
She was not debating from a personal view, but from a view as a woman.
The fact that she's constantly on the phone to you trying to make it up to you shows me what a good girl you have, she was willing to get into a debate with you and feels strongly about the rights of women and you have turned her answer into her personal belief!!
It seems to me that your girlfriend is only allowed an opinion as long as you agree with?
Relationships are difficult and complex, you don't have to agree with each other.
You need very quickly to call this girl and apologise, she;s clearly very upset and will hold this against you. You need to be a man, call her, meet with her and tell her that you were angry, upset and that you missed her point. You need to tell her that you respect her opinions, you may not like them, but you respect them.

Abortions are a good thing ffs. It's *not* a murder, abortions are only done long before the fetuses brain starts to develop. And until then it's just a lizard-like clump of rapidly reproducing cells.
Abortion should definitely be the last resort (as multiple abortions can cause huge issues with future pregnancies), but when other means of birth control fail, you should be allowed to have abortion.
