Why are lesbians more accepted within society than gay guys are?

The awful truth is from what I can tell it's opportunistic. Both genders by and large enjoy a good lesbian particularly those who indulge in bisexual tendencies for whatever reason as it pays divid-ends. It seems (it's certainly true in my case) that because there is no desire for a male in a sexual manner to be dismissive of the experience. I can see it said it is a case of "your sins are not my sins so I'll take a stand here.. gotta start somewhere..." which I also see as unfair. I am so busy tending to my own shortcomings to attend to those of others.

Females are more likely to experiment with each other. Especially while drunk. Also, most guys in today's society have had a porn phase where lesbian is the only thing they watch

I think lesbian affection is more tolerated, but lesbians aren't taken as seriously because of how sexualised they are in porn (and anyone who has had sex with a woman knows how unrealistic lesbian porn is).

Because lesbians turn the heteronormative male population on and women are encouraged to be more physical with each other. Hopefully thats changing to include all people.
