In some ways yes, in other no. You are much more likely to heckled, experience verbal abuse, but the actual physical violence is more likely to be directed towards a masculine presenting partner. If both women are extremely feminine, men will yell at you, but half of them will yell at you to make out for their own sexual pleasure. those men, which exist at every nightclub, large social gathering, public building are pigs. It is a lot more acceptable for women to live with each other at any age, show physical affection, have quasi romantic platonic friendships, as long as they are presenting more feminity and don't try to "change the definition of masculinity."

I think gay men are much more prone to violence than sexual harassment since the mentality is less about "sexual performance" (lesbians) but "sodomizing scum" (gay men). The resulting thought is physical violence since even most old school bigots have a "don't hit women (even if she's morally corrupt)" that does not quite extent to the gay man.

Yes. Lesbians used to get away with lesbianism years ago when caught whereas men used to either be killed and even up until the 50s they were chemically castrated. Lesbians used to marry have kids and indulge in sex with their "friend" while their husbands were at work.
Domestic violence is actually hire among lesbian couples than hetrosexual couples.
In 2019 it's even seen as cool to be a lesbian which is why many young hetrosexual women pretend to be bi when they are not and hetrosexual men fantasize about girl on girl action.
