What do you think about western men preferring Asian women?

I would not make any generalizations because they are usually wrong and everything depends on person.
But I can say that I'm one of these men (I'm a European, but not a Westerner though) who prefer Asian girls. When I see a pretty white girl I just notice that she is a pretty. But when I see a pretty Asian girl I have a strong wish to approach her and to get to know her personality.
What do I think about myself in this context? I think that I have a preference like all other people do and it's fine unless it doesn't create problems for anyone.

Well, opinion polls show that Asian women are one of the most attractive groups to straight white males, so it's certainly a widely held belief. Whether or not these things are true, I don't know. We're dealing with stereotypes. And currently, the stereotype of the modern western woman (the basic bitch) is pretty repulsive. So men flock to a different stereotype.

It's actually only a minority of Western men who like Asian women. A lot of Western guys look down on or make fun of other Western guys who like Asian women.

Asian women usually don't fit the stereotype of the submissive wife eager to please her husband, as a number of Western guys have found out.

I do like Asian women and find them interesting and often very beautiful, but I don't like them more than Western women. There's also the disadvantage of significant cultural differences.
