What is considered tall for a girl?

A rather straightforward question. I think the average height for women is 5'4" but what is considered tall?

For me, maybe something in the 5'8" or few inches taller range. This is close to my height (5'9-10"), and it's the average height for guys in the US. So it seems like its getting there for a girl, to me at least.

I'm 6ft 3" so I'm fine with any girl who is in the range of 5-6ft tall. Too tall would be taller than me, I think the same logic will apply for most (but not all) guys.

I would say that starting at 5'9,thats tall for a girl...since 5'9" I believe,is the average height for a guy. I'm 5'9" and I often tower over a lot of folks...

5'10 and taller...they have scholarships for tall people, as well as tall clubs, and they all define tall as 5'10+ for women and 6'2+ for men

If I see a girl that's near my height (5"11) like say around 5"9 or higher, I think that's pretty tall.

I'd say once you hit 5'7" that is pretty tall. this is just because most girls like to wear heels. heels take you to 6 feet, and that doesn't rock.

5'4" is average height for a us female. Straight sizes are made with 5'5" to 5'8" women in mind and below that is petite. but that's just according to clothing companies

WEAR HEELS! I'm 5'9 so wearing heels makes me like 6 ft tall. You could wear 5 inch heels and still not be 6ft. I would do anything to be your height and wear heels!

Are you kidding me I'm 12 and I'm 5'11, I can't wear heels ever because all the guys in my grade are shorter than me, all the guys older than me are also shorter than me and do you want too know something else I live in Asia. So can you not say that your gigantic tall or huge because your not. Be happy that you have an average hight and you can easily wear heels.

@MissL I am 5'6". It is in the 75th percentile for height so it is considered pretty tall.. I wear long jeanineseguin@geneticnurse. org s. Regular ones are several inches too short. The length of pants has to do with how long your legs are... someone can be tall with short legs
