It is a subconscious mind control, for example the sexual revolution brought "free love" and lesser care for family values, so now you have random sex more frequent however the consequences of the sexual revolution and feminism are quite chaotic.
Through the 50s till now the divorce rate rose to what is now around 50%, free love is common, that leads to people not valuing sex and its importance and now we have an increasingly large single motherhood rate, increasingly high abortion rate, etc. Sons without fathers lead to a higher chance of dropping out of high school and getting in prison. Daughters without fathers have a higher chance of getting pregnant out of wedlock and repeating the cycle. Everyone is focused on sex, and it is destroying society by destroying the family unit, if you want society to become stronger you strengthen the family, not the government.
The way you are mind controlled is that you probably think sex has no consequences and you should have sex with anyone one you like, when that is a fallacy you have been lied to about. Sex isn't a thing you throw around. This is a type of control since people are focused about themselves and pleasure more than the consequences and morality of their actions.
Then comes my generation, and the one before me, I would argue the society in the US now has made us weak and fearful of speaking our opinions in presence of political correctness. Social media is also a thing, that can inspire narcissism and just think about it. If I were to post pictures of what I do in my free time on my friends locker at school, I would look insane, however doing it online is okay? People are seeking validation from others.
Obesity is a huge issue, there are around 2.3 billion overweight or obese people in the world. The main cause of death in the world is heart disease a very common one in America is coronary artery disease but if you diet you can avoid it!
What do all these things come back to? Self pleasure, and the more you fuel your desires, the less strength you have with self control. When you lose self control, and someone or something offers you pleasure, you take it.

Absolutely. That's what TV and media are. It feeds you "information" all day and night then you slowly give up your rights and next thing you know, you are working your ass off at a low paying job simply to pay the bills on a house that always needs something. You pay taxes from that low paying job to make life better but the big guy elite gets it all. So you keep working and paying until you die.
