Why do people hate Yeti all of a sudden?

Trending & News YETI cut all ties with the NRA. What's absurd about that, is their primary base that they advertise to and market their products to, are primarily those people who camp, hunt, and fish - in other words, nearly all of them are gun owners, with a majority of them being NRA members.
So when they dump their support to the NRA with zero explanation, it doesn't sit well with those people (including me, who owns ZERO YETI products). While their stuff is well made, it's also excessively expensive! That expense is somewhat overlooked because of the product quality.
After their announcement, I will NEVER spend a penny toward their overpriced stuff. I've seen them, and to me, they cost FAR too much! I've read several comments from YETI owners who plan to use that stuff as target practice the next time they go out in the woods.
THey announced they weren’t donating any more to some NRA fund.

I never was a fan of Yeti, but I don't hate them per se. I never was a fan because they were ridiculously expensive for what you got, and they were often linked to assholes that also drive Chevy trucks.
Because the majority of yeti's customer base is the southern mostly conservative people. People who dont take kindly to negative press about the NRA.
What is yeti? Isn't it a monkey from himalaya myth?
You mean the cooler company? That’s news to me.
Pics or it never happened.
I thought you were talking about this guy. '-'

I've never heard about that company.
Snap.
@ThePragmaticRomantic: eh, what @__@
The word "snap" has many slang uses. In this case I meant "Snap" to mean, "I agree" or "I have the same" as derived from a popular children's card game.
I do sometimes forget that some pieces of slang are far more regional than others. :D
IE I also was thinking of the skii-free yeti, and was not familiar with the company.
@ThePragmaticRomantic: YEEEEAAAH BOY! =D You made my day! ;D
I'm not a native English speaker, so thanks a lot for the info on that slang. =) I wasn't aware of it.
