Over my life time I have never seen an officer abuse his/her power.

I've seen it in the news in other states/cities, but not in person.

If you think about it the ones that do end up on the news is just a drop in the bucket. There's plenty of officers that does a good job.

There may be a few bad apples on the force, but the police are essential members of the community and they all deserve our utmost respect.
