For a really long time we've been a country of about 9 million people, about 90% of us were swedish, not a lot of crime but everything was incredibly expensive. Then we had a housing crisis and around 60% of our politicians started investing in that. Since 2010 we've taken in around 970 000 people. The media lied about the majority of them being either educated adults or women and children and that the country would benefit from them being here.

I don't think it's doomed since it seems like a lot of people are considering voting for the Sweden Democrats. We have 8 political parties here and they're the only one that wants to decrease immigration while the other 7 want either keep it where it's at right now or attempt to increase it.

I have also seen the questionnaire you reference and I have also seen people purposely write down inaccurate information in a form of "protest" against the government to make them take action. Its not fact based, period.

Also you CAN compare per-capita with other countries since its specifically designed to be compared with other countries. Doctors per capita means how many doctors for any given number of people (1000 in this case) and Sweden. In fact Sweden has significantly more doctors than for example USA or the UK, a whole ~50% actually.

For every 1000 Swedes there are 3.3 doctors (Year 2002 and climbing)
For every 1000 Brits there are 2.2 doctors (2002 and climbing)

You would see we are actually doing just fine. For example Finland has 8.1% and the average in the European Union is 7.1 where as Sweden is 6.2~6.5.
