Female serial killers are more common than people think, but why are most serial killers men?

I think it's because a lot of serial killings are to do with the killer having the perception of being small, powerless and humilated. As such, it is more or a salve for the male ego, to dominate and abuse women in order to feel empowered. Women in general don't tend to react in the same way to the same psychological issues. Some of that is due to societal stigma surrounding masculinity and the lack thereof, but it's clearly more complicated than that. There might also be genetic aberrations that play on certain drives within human beings and in particular human males. It's interesting that the majority of male serial killers kill strangers while the majority of female serial killers kill people that they know.

I don't really think women understand what it's like to have that shit pumping through their brain. Just like I don't understand some of the emotions that they seem to feel sometimes. Our brains are wire differently.

Also, biologically speaking. Men are hunters, men are protectors. We are bred for violence.

If you look at their background.. most have poor relationships with either their mother or father.. either abuse or been sexually assaulted by one or both parents.
Fred and rose west for instance both had incest relationships with their parents..
Pretty sure the moors murderers were also abuse victims

Considering I live in the 200 miles stretch that has produced the most sereal killers ever. my guess is it the lack of sun Washington has very little sun and if you don’t like the rain there’s nothing much to do. Vietnam D is really important for ones sanity

I wish I knew, but a guess, they are not as free to express their emotions and encouraged to surpress them. While women are not only more free to express emotions they also biologically have more emotions than men. This can be seen as anger which would cause more but maybe more emotions is a good thing or at least being able to be more free to let them out

Honestly I think it's because men have more strength and testosterone. I think sociopaths exist in male and female form equally. But it's just that women don't have the same strength as men

I have no way to prove this other than saying women comprise most of child abusers and elder abusers, so they usually go after the weaker. And also, most fillicides are made by women particularly mothers.

Men just have the evil genius gene more, it’s like this lecture I watched on intelligence among the sexes. Women are usually in the middle of the bell curve and men are in the outliers. Either very dumb or “freakishly intelligent” is what she concluded.
