How can serial killers take lives and hunt other humans and not give a fuck?

I had been looking at a couple videos on YouTube and I ran across videos of Jeffrey dahmer , Richard Ramirez and a few other serial killers and it’s like they just didn’t give a fuck. In the interviews they seemed like normal regular people so you never would think of them killing other people. Did they have personality disorder where they just turned into to completely different people in those situations? I was diagnosed with anti personality disorder but I could never see myself killing anyone unless threatened. Do any of you think Dylan klebold and Eric Harris would have been capable of being serial killers?

That's why they're serial killers, and not just "killers".

Most murders are accidents or circumstances. But hitmen, soldiers, and serial killers share the "premeditated" bracket, in that their modus operandi is to kill.

Only solders get a pension and parade for doing so, though. It's why most tend to commit suicide too.

I think because the part of the brain where they can empathize is damaged so they kill people without feeling much or no remorse. Also they want to fulfill their fantasies and desires but might feel ashamed so they kill in order to silence the victim (Jeffrey Dahmer).

Same way people can expect other peoples kids to go to war and kill and die for their cheaper gas or whatever. Sociopathy is our natural state. We are inclined to readily adapt to civilization but we were animals before that ever became a thing.
