Cancer man (zodiac sign) - How to provoke him to act

I made myself too available for that cancer guy because I like him very much and I wanna show him that he can rely on me, being there for him no matter what. Maybe I made myslef so available, that now he's taking me for granted and is kinda bored with me.

Is there any way to turn this situation and how !?

I wanna show that man, that not everything is about him anymore ... and If he wants me he has to put some effort too

What is the most effective way to do it, so he starts seeing me as something more than the "good girl" that will always be next to him.

Well I'm trying to get the attention of a cancer man myself, and a little unsure about it yet.

But I have a best friend since we were kids that is cancer (I'm aquarius), and I'm learning all the time how cancerians work.

If your cancerian man has a deep soul--can you talk about anything? Do you feel safe to be yourself with him?-- then you might be able to win his attention back. But it seems like the cancerians that aren't in touch with their deeper aspects are simply players who don't invest the care or time on someone else's needs. And you don't want that in your life! Seems like they can be 'all-or-nothing' in that way.

So if he's not playing you to see what he can get away with, then he's likely so involved in some other aspect of his life (often work/career, family issues), and not noticing your needs. They tend toward self-absorption even though they aren't trying to be cruel.

So while they hate confrontation, they despise losing even more. So if you can handle talking to him in a calm, understanding way--without accusation!--about your feelings, you might be able to help him reach his appreciation for you. If he truly values you, then he will not want you to go away, or even risk the possibility of you leaving his life. But be careful if you do talk if he is not very deep-- a real conversation could likely shut him down for good. Of course if he can't handle a real discussion, then maybe that could be a good thing for you. Good luck!
