He gets a lot of flack for this, but he's just a touchy guy. He does it with absolutely everyone. He's not touching anyone in an actual inappropriate way, just a little more than is acceptable in our current polite society. Some of those kids act uncomfortable, but they are in front of a crowd, and kids are like that. They can find the attention embarrassing, it doesn't mean they don't like it.

I don't like his politics, but he seems like a genuinely nice guy. If anything ever comes to light where he crossed a line he should definitely be prosecuted, but he should hardly be chastized for the occasional hand on the shoulder.
