I refuse to vote because your options are too extreme.

I'm no expert although I have found that I tend to be pretty good at sensing what people are about.. picking up on antagonistic traits anyway. Mostly I think I'm cynical and have massive trust issues so I tend to be right about people who are not cool.. but wrong about people who are cool because I get to know them better and then I realise "Oh.. this person IS cool".

However, I have watched the entire video of that red haired young lass in the kinda' Leopard style dress, and I believe she is terrified of him. That's what it looks like to me. It looks like she fears him greatly, that she is creeped out by him, and she looks like she's trying really hard not to break down crying. She looks on the verge of being broken... and her parents (I assume the adults with her were her parents) look awkward.. to me they look like they are conflicted.. like they appreciate the importance of maintaining a good, strong, united public image, that this is very important to them, that they want to maintain alliance with Biden, but that they feel guilty or regretful.. (perhaps that they wish they didn't have to let Biden rape their daughter in order to maintain that public image and alliance).

So out of all the pictures there that's the only one I will comment on, because it's the only one I have seen in full context for myself.. for me to share my perception of the situation there.

I would not be surprised at all if Biden is a rapist of children. I was not surprised about Jimmy Savile because frankly I always found him creepy, bizarre, awful, cringe inducing, nauseating and frightening, especially when I was a child and I first saw him on tv.. so what really surprised me with Savile was that anyone WAS surprised. Prince Phillip could not look any more guilty, that interview he did is simultaneously hilarious and awful, and other things. Really studying that interview you can see so much shock, fear and paranoia in that man, and you can see relief at key moments where he feels like the pressure is easing, he buried himself, tied himself in knots, hung himself.. fuck it all the medieval executions he did them all to himself in a metaphorical sense of course. I've watched numerous studies on the interview by people with psychology credentials that support my initial perception of the interview. .. and there are a shit load of other people in major positions of power that seem to have an unfortunate habit of raping children for whatever reason.. I had recently found out that a lot of our celebrated rock stars were peadophiles.. it was a different time.. the '60s.. when apparently having sex with children was just a little bit cheeky.

So absolutely I would not be surprised.

When I see pictures like this i think: is what I’m seeing really what is being portrayed in the moment, or did the media snap a shot that looks messed up and then label it something crazy. I would say never make snap judgments look into it first because this is how the media likes to ruin lives and control people. Just take a series of compromising shots of the person and bam! The fact that the party at least tacitly accepts the idea of M4A, for example, speaks to that even if the party's defacto nominee doesn't support it. Other issues like BLM, prison reform, progressive taxation and a humane immigration policy are widely supported by rank-and-file Democrats, even if the specific policies they latch on to are ineffective.

Yeah, that's exactly the sort of thing trump trolls will never admit to. The idea that democrats, in general, are malleable. Even Biden has shifted his stances to the left, both over the course of his career and since he won the nomination. He's a dedicated "party median" candidate, which I believe is fair (I just think there are too many conservatives in the party).

But mostly, the plain fact is there is no path to victory for trump other than either a coup or trying absolutely everything he can to get anyone who will listen to not like Biden enough to vote for him. And trump hasn't stopped campaigning at any point since he came down that escalator. The idea that there is any article, video, or meme that discourages people from voting for Biden that didn't originate from the trump campaign is almost laughable. And knowing that, no matter how good hating Biden makes you feel, it's just plain naive to not consider the strong likelihood that the trump campaign is lying.

And it seems unreasonable, that idea that anyone actually on the left doesn't regret their part in helping trump get elected by joining the "Hillary is the same as trump" bandwagon that proved to be catastrophic nonsense. Despite the fact that we both agree that we are in a hole, we can't seem to agree on how to get out of it. And that will keep us in it indefinitely. I can't really think of an analogy to our different proposals, but I'm on board with the most realistic path out available. Whereas yours seems to hinge on some critical mass of people agreeing with you - which we obviously haven't reached or Bernie would be the nominee. Despite how reasonable the left's philosophy sounds, like it or not everything hinges on our ability to "sell" it to the uninterested. And we clearly have not. This is because the right owns the media - and so the hole gets deeper.

The idea of Bernie represents a "teleport to the finish line," which we haven't earned. We have to leave the gate first and go through all the motions every step of the way. If we're not prepared for a lifetime of uphill struggle, then we're not serious about any of this. Biden represents getting a foothold on the track. If you can't get excited about that after three years in a hole, I can't believe you are actually as dedicated to this as you seem to think you are.

We'll all go back to business as usual, and although Biden is not Trump, and he certainly talks the talk Leftists like to hear, we've been to this rodeo before. It's all smoke and mirrors. He'll do better than Trump, but he'll also work hard to maintain most, if not all, of the systemic problems our nation faces today. He won't actively try to make it worse like the GOP will, but he won't be making it better.

So, I'd be happy if, say, we get Biden elected and then spend the next four years forcing him into doing the right thing. Or maybe I'm wrong and he really has turned a new leaf in the past... 4 months? Anyway, I'm okay with Biden winning this time just as long as we can immediately get back to working on getting someone who is actually a decent human being in office soon thereafter.

But we all know that won't happen. We'll keep circling the drain, and THAT is what got us Trump, not some fairy tale about all the Leftists who could have supported Hillary but didn't.

But the thing is this: we are in a cold war with the confederacy. Your "vote" is nice, but the real fight is in the melee of propaganda the low information voters are exposed to in the events leading up to the election. And the simple fact is any attack on Biden in that melee is an assist to the Trump campaign. Not sure why this is difficult to understand :-P

Also, as to how Biden will be once in office, the party is barely rallying behing him now. He is a compromise candidate that the moderates of the party and the liberals of the party can both say "Well he doesn't represent me that well, but at least he's not insane like trump." Especially with so many unemployed, I suspect many will hold the dems feet to the fire in the years to come. But who knows..
