From an igen's point of view, honestly they don't. I think I know pretty much nothing. What millennials do is this. They are a lot more informed than baby boomers and generation x. Mainly due to the fact that Internet and age. They have both. They're young adults as of now and have the power of a certain level of experience and the Internet at their fingertips which previous generations weren't that exposed to. Igens don't have the experience yet, so we're still half baked cookies. However that doesn't mean that we're not informed. We're very informed. Half baked doesn't translate to half baked knowledge. It's just that we know that we have a lot more to learn and we're doing that. Bit by bit. Till then we'll continue to profess our knowledge to its maximum potential and where we know we're right.
Ps- A word of advice to a lot of people out there (not all). Stop picking on us and telling us we're too young to know something or that we're wrong due to our age. It's a bullshit reason and we would really love an actual retort to our statements. Again not to all people not certainly some.
1... I'm confused... Baby boomers had kids, their kids made millennials... If you don't like millennials why TF did you raise them the way you did?
2... You can't get jobs out of high school and take care of yourself anymore.
3... They eliminated trades in high school that set the regular kids up for the job force if they weren't qualified for college.
4... The death of the paid internship ruined us.. We work for damn near free WITH the student loans that outpace earnings.
5... We DO NOT think we know everything. Most millennials I know bust ass 40+ hrs, a week and go to college to be broke and blamed for our failing economy. those BEFORE US destroyed. I know very few lazy entitled millennials. Most of us are just tired af
My mother 60 something-year-old mother called this shit out stating it was ridiculous how much heat millennials take for an economy we did not create!!
Agree with you 100% look at my opinion lmao
She deserves the other MVO
When it comes down to it they don't have any actual skills

Millennials don't believe they knows everything and there are many unanswered questions. They knows that. We still don't know if there's an objective meaning with life, if gods exists, if there are any afterlives, how god is, if it exists life on other planets etc. Most millennials thinks they knows more about certain things than the previous generations and that they've knowledge people in the past didn't have.
Before the internet age people didn't know what the internet was, but nowadays we knows it. For thousand years ago people didn't have the same knowledge as we've about medicine, sexuality, science etc. Things like light bulb, electricity, anesthesia etc. weren't invented yet. People didn't know what germs was, that blood letting didn't work and so on. In the 1600s people believed in witches many places in the world.
So next time a millennian says people in the past were dumber, they don't mean the new generation knows everything.
Here's my take... the older generation is always bitching about millenials saying that we're lazy, we take everything for granted, we are addicted to our technology etc... fine, point taken. Where I personally think it crosses the line is where the older generation seems to blame us for most of the world's problems...
However, I will ask of you to consider this if you may...
Who raised us? - your generation
Who invented all the technology and smart phones? - your generation
Who is he generation mostly in charge of running countries and companies? - your generation
Who is the generation that drove the entire planet into debt that will take 100 plus years to pay off? - your generation (thanks by the way, like we needed a pickle up our ass before we even get to grow up)
Who decides when a war starts and ends? - your generation (and guess who fights and dies, us - thanks again for that)
I apologize if I cane out as offensive but I feel like a direct approach is called for. Im not dissing anyone but all I am saying, sure we may lack in certain parts but guess what, your parents were probably very disappointed in your generation too.
My point is, before you go tell everyone how shitty we are, why dont you look in the mirror and make the change - your generation is the ones in power. If you're Unhappy with us, help make us better and we will gladly appreciate the help rather than just stand there and criticize us.
Keep in mind, when you guys get old, we'll be the one wipping your ass in the nursing homes so unless you want to sit in a shitty diaper on a daily basis, I would propose that you consider developping a certain degree of respect for the millenials.
Cheers and I hope this reflexion helps answer your question.
Where's my MVO for this? I know I've earned it, I know you agree lmao
Wipping... Do you mean wiping? Developping? Do you mean developing? Reflexion? Do you mean reflection? Try proofreading before posting, okay? This is what people did before spellcheck-John in Texas
All people at that age feel like they are all knowing and invincible. It's happened with all generations and will continue to happen. Most grow out of it and smarten up, and the few that don't are easily identifiable. The fact you have to blame the internet or mental disabilities on the harsh nature of humanity probably shows you were one of those people that never grew out of the 'I'm better than everyone and everything I don't understand is lesser than me' stage
I'm Gen Z
And that's toxic way of believing those who are young shouldn't have a say in politics and social discussions.
This rhetoric purely comes from those who are equally politically informed, who believe that millenials that express their beliefs are suddenly uninformed because they came from a generation that is influenced my their family and school.
Liberalism is a lot more popular among younger people because it's about the concept of those who recognize problems others have long forgotten about, and want to be the generation to be able to fix it, rather than let it pass.
Because technology is advancing and was far more exposed to nearly everything without having to hardly experience it. Many of us were taught of the world EARLY in life. But its also how our parents choose to raise us. There is no issue in knowing everything. The problem is what you choose to do with it. And sadly I'm ashamed of my generation. Have all this knowledge, still, choose to do 'stupid'. I think that's the real problem.
Cause the internet exists! Had it been this available before, all exposed to it would be just the same!
You can pretty much self teach yourself everything and anything without much more just internet! That’s a big part of it.
They are the best educated generation to this date and yes, google is an extension of your knowledge since were now at an age where its not as important to know something as it is important to know where to find the correct information.
Kind of how its not as important to know the answer to a math problem as it is important to know how to calculate it.
Because most of us were born with a silver spoon and are handed things in life. They mistake spoilage as self-earned success.
(Un) fortunately, I wasn't quite so and I learned things the hard way. But at the same time I also understand others have it worse than I do so I try not to complain too much.
Maybe becuz they know more than us old folks. I'm happy they do.
I see babies crying. I watch them grow. They'll learn so much more than I'll ever know.
Um because we know plenty more than the older generation. 99% off millennial are more clued up about current/modern technology and a lot are fresh from education, if not still in it - therefore were up to date with whats going on in the world and how things have changed from your time.
Probably because they are still or just fresh from education. So have what they think and it probably is, up to date information about the world, e. g politics. Whereas people who are much older only have google/the news to get there info.
We don’t, I know every little about cars but when it comes to history I’m almost an expert. But there are plenty of thing I don't know
I don't think millennials think they know everything so much as they feel entitled to everything.
we don't. You can find know it alls in all generations since the beginning of time and weirdos who whine about kids these days since the beginning of time also. But you can't generalize this. I know enough to know that I don't know everything.
PC culture sucked them in made them think they know it all and they have to be a dick to anyone who disagrees with them. Not all millennials just the PC ones.
Because young people always do. My dad told me that when he was younger that his dad, my grandfather, was super smart. When dad hit his teens he noticed that my grandfather was progressively getting more ignorant. Then when my dad reached 25, my grandfather started getting smart again. I'll be damned if the same thing didn't happen to me.
I think all young generations are like this coming through
Liberalism (Most of them, it appears) Is a SICKNESS. xxoo
Honestly a lot of them don't, depends on what they are taught growing up
one... by definition you are a millenial yourself
two... the younger generations belief in the notion that they know everything and are the first to think stuff and the first to discover things is as old as time itself
