Do introverts do poorly in Latin America (Mexico, Dominican Republic, Brazil, etc.) when it comes to making friends or just life in general?

Since people in Latin American countries are often very extroverted and assertive, I've been wondering. A friend of mine convinced me to travel to Mexico and Brazil during my one week vacation to take a break from work and become more social and make more friends. The problem with that is I've always been an introverted guy and I don't like people much. However, I'm willing to go with my friend to Mexico and Brazil for the sake of trying to get out of my shell and have an adventure.

It’s hard to make friends as introverts where ever you live. That’s why they’re introverts.

I think it’s easier to make friends with the Internet, if it isn’t available in your country that’s a lot of missed potential interaction.

If you don’t see the value in something don’t do it. But it’s good that you’re trying to make strides. Don’t force yourself, you’ll get sick.
