No, because we’d get pussies men & women, who aren’t meant to be warriors. I used to think recently actually, but I realized there can be more harm than good from forcing a hippie to fight or forcing a dentist to fight as well. It has to be natural and more or less comfortable for the person. People are different and forcing some to be something they’re not especially when it comes to war, will get people killed.

Yes. Should serve 8 years with Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard (National Guard on SOME EXCEPTIONS), attain a rank of T/Sgt or Capt (E-5 / O-1) THEN serve with a law enforcement (police not reserve) for 15 years.
Women would only be a burden on the military. If it's something behind the scenes, maybe, but women aren't as strong as men and any role in combat would be a burden to everyone else. Women should stay at home and raise the children tbh
If itis for men then it should be for women.

Yes they should be required to serve but only in non-combat roles and they should train separately to men.
I know Israel is one of the countries that conscripts women:In my opinion, if all military occupations are open to women, then they should be held to the same standards as the men. So, if a country has compulsory service for men, then women should be part of that as well.
All that being said, I am 100% compulsory military service. I am a veteran myself and the last thing I would want to deal with would be an entire generation of unmotivated soldiers who dont want to be there. They make for poor soldiers and typically start doing stupid sh*t in order to get out early.I don't really see equality as "men and women must be exactly the same in every regard". But I definitely think they should have that opportunity. And to everyone claiming women can't do it, I have seem unremarkable-looking men complete SF training. If you're fit and have the right mentality, you can do it.
I think most young people in my country can benefit from military service, and if guys have to do it, then girls should too, unless they want to recognize their privilege and accept what comes with that. Generally, they should be placed in auxiliary units, and not put in units that require cohesion, toughness, etc.
Under no circumstances. The United States Military would never need to draft women; our population is large enough and our technology advanced enough that just the 18-21 year old guys can beat the rest of the world combined. It would be unecessary money and paperwork and effort that should be spent elsewhere.
It shouldn’t be compulsory unless we’re actually at war and need people...
fight or flight instinct is natural and can’t be taught. There’s no use forcing a bunch of people who naturally flee to protect themselves into armed serviceI feel that women should have to sign up for the draft, but required service I don't think so.
Men were allowed to vote because they agreed to defend their country, women were allowed to vote with nothing in return. If it is compulsory for men, then it should be compulsory for women as well. However, I prefer the idea of having all members of the military sign up voluntarily.
Nobody should be required to serve in the military. And it should be illegal to sell military service as patriotic when the government's military agenda has literally nothing to do with freedom, or even nationalism to any degree.
It's permissable under neccessity. I think any modern nation would conscript women if they were few in neccessary numbers. It's just it's redundant to have both sexes operating under the same military unit in a lot of cases. Typically you want units made up of the strongest available men, anything less comes at the cost of a loss of life.
Military service? So long as rights, opportunities, and government benefits are tied to military service, then it should be obligatory regardless of sex. But combat roles? Some people are good at machine work. Some are good at code breaking. Give them something difficult but that they can do.
I might have agreed with this earlier, but after 2 children I believe women have no place in the military.
No. I don't think women should ever serve in the military. Nothing to do with sexism but if no one is back home. Who will take care of the children and old people?
It absolutely can be taught. you may have the instinct to do one thing but force yourself to do the other.
It shouldn't be compulsory for anyone. Of nobody thinks a war is worth fighting. Then you probably shouldn't be fighting it.
I think women should be drafted when there's an active draft. They should have been given that responsibility when they gained the right to vote. Alternatively to anyone who is adamantly against women being drafted, the alternative is revoking women's right to vote. Personally I'd prefer the former, but the current situation where they get to pick and choose what rights they want and don't want while simultaneously chanting equality is unacceptable to me.
If you truly are for equality like feminists are than yes i believe that women should be made to do the exact same things that men are... If men must do it than so should women... On that same token i believe the whole Draft thing should be abolished.
Not in the USA. Women aren't the best soldiers men are. We have 320,000,000 people, we aren't lacking in abled males.
Yes and they should have to go on the front line to die just like men are forced to.
They will not do well and by no means will they help their country or platoon (as proven by studies of mixed vs male only platoons)
But to throw “equality” in their face, they need to see that being a man isn’t “privileged”.Hell yeah! I think feminists should be moved to the top of the list. Feminists love to fight and scream and wear war paint and march naked. I think women should do recon.
