Gender *** INSANITY ***! Does America Really Want To Let These Liberal Wackos Make Us Follow The Europeans Down This Road To Hell?

Yes, those sick Libs want to build a world in their image and likeness: depressive, failed, confuse, lacking a touch with reality, miserable, utopic, guilt-ridden and fake.
Liberalism is an absolute evil!
LOL DUMB MFer!
"Village idiot"
Your username is the perfect description about you, it fits you very well.
Gee that's original. But I'd much rather be an idiot than a fascist!
RIIIIIIIGHT... and *BANNING A COOKIE* is NOT fascist.
Scotland... what are you doing to us! I go there tomorrow so I'm going to purposefully go into a coffee shop and ask for a gingerbread man
Having read the story through on various sites, it seems that this has been blown WAY out of proportion by the awful excuses for journalism that are the Mail, Express and Mirror.
The Scottish Parliament has NOT banned gingerbread men! They have chosen to sell "gingerbread people" at their own coffee shop which is located WITHIN the Scottish parliament.
It hasn't been "banned" from anywhere, they simply chose to make the move within their own premises.
"They have chosen to sell "gingerbread people" at their own coffee shop which is located WITHIN the Scottish parliament."
Scary that you actually think this is any better! You welcome the language police to our own country with nary the slightest complaint.
I don't agree with it. However, the truth is very different from what your question and the attached article make it out to be and it's definitely better.
Are you seriously suggesting that banning a product is not worse than choosing to change its name? That's a ridiculous argument. Nobody else is required to change the name in Scotland. I don't care whether people call them gingerbread men or gingerbread people.
But banning it being called the formed would be horrendous, hence my initial outrage, however that isn't the case.
The name of this type of cookie is a Gingerbread MAN, not a Gingerbread Person. It's no coincidence that they changed the name consistent with the left's anti-male, anti-masculine agenda. The government has no moral authority to determine such a things and should not be involved in such an agenda. When you control the language you control the people. And it is the people who should control the government, not the other way around.
Right, but they aren't controlling the language for anyone other than themselves! If a group of people choose to use one word or another, what difference does it make? It isn't a public space, it isn't a public coffee shop, it's entirely for those people who have decided to call it something.
You're actually the one trying to control language here. If I sold Gingerbread Nazis to my friends and family, nobody has the right to tell me to do otherwise simply because they should be called Gingerbread men. The government aren't controlling what other people outside of a PRIVATE building call them.
There is a reason that the government in the United States is held to a higher standard than private entities. Most do not understand this, but the right to free speech, for example means that the GOVERNMENT may not impede speech. But it does not mean that your private employer can't. The reason is that the government has an obligation to stay neutral and must not create even the appearance of favoring one political agenda over another. When a government gives in to this kind of pressure, and begins to deviate from the reality of genderism and support the left's agenda of gender confusion, they are crossing the line of moral government and breaking the bond of trust with the people they are supposed to be serving.
But again, the government isn't telling anyone to change language. Nobody else is obligated to do so and they certainly aren't "banned" from using certain words. I haven't even found a legitimate source to suggest that they even made this change in the first place.
However, assuming that they have, the situation is only made worse by people using words like "banned" and missing out vital details of where such changes have taken place.
As I said before, if this was something that impacted members of the public then I'd be outraged, and was when I thought that was the case, however if it's something that is happening within a private building in one coffee shop simply to make a tiny number of people feel more included, then I don't care at all. It has no bearing on anything outside of the parliament.
Okay, so if the US government renamed the White House, The Islamic Culture Center, it makes no difference to you. I'll see if they are willing to do that.
I think there already wasn't much point in continuing. So I'll let you have the last word. Hope you enjoy your trip to Scotland.
Hae a guid day :)
What do the PC police, feminists and SJWs do when there's no problems and nothing to to protest? That's right they invent something.
Well, it's not the the parlous state of public pensions or the other challenges faced by the non-oligarchs in the West are of any concern, right?
@Logorithim your a fool if you rely on the government to look after your money. Goverments look at the people's money as their own and they have an insatiable hunger always for more.
Although that's quite true, the fact is that most people do not have enough money for retirements from private sources, so there will be some reliance on public pensions whether we like it or not.
@Logorithim nope. The government will put it on their families, remember there are thousands of homeless kids and young people on the streets and the government does sweet fuck all.
I don't think it will quite come to that- more likely governments will stoke higher inflation instead.
@Logorithim won't higher inflation make the problem worse if these pensioners have little or no pension?
That's correc, but I see that as more likely than simply telling pensioners that their families have to support them in old age- some of these people have no children at all.
@Logorithim true but it will just be tough. They may in agreement for all their property assets such as their home agree to put them into old people homes but rather than in America instead outsourcing it to Mexico or South American countries.
@Logorithim
There is no such thing as pension that comes from government. Everything the government has comes from the blood, sweat and tears of the taxpayers. Prosperity doesn't come from government spending. The notion that government creates prosperity is equivalent to the notion that you can fill up a pool by taking buckets of water out of one end and pouring them in the other. Only private sector enterprise creates prosperity.
That's correct, but that is besides the point. Call it "government administered" or whatever you'd like to differentiate it from private pensions.
I'd call it government confiscated pensions. The government takes things under threat of prison from some people and gives it to other people.
Let me amend that:
The government takes things under threat of prison from some people, fritters away half of it on waste, fraud, abuse and corruption and gives what remains to other people.
That last statement I would agree with. Public pensions are indeed a Ponzo scheme, but we're stuck with them.

Leftists aren't happy unless they have some inane subject about which to bitch,
The face of Trump Derangement Syndrome!
Which I might add is a disease that is destroying our country.
Oh, boy! It looks as if the disinformation pumped out over the last 50 years by the communist and socialist has actually worked. Some people have lost their ability of rational thought. They do not even know their own sex. It is pretty basic. You either have the material to be a man or a woman.
Deformities don’t count. Those are special cases. Even then it isn’t open to interpretation. Haha!
Yes and also, you cannot change your gender since it is impounded in your DNA.
There's no way to make sense of non-sense. These things will only continue to keep happening as long as we don't put our foots down.
And how do we do that?
@villageidiot It's easy a two letter word "NO". All those who think that it is going to far needs to stand up and say that when they hear this non-sense.
But isn't this much ado about nothing? People have been doing this for centuries. I choose to just ignore them.
@villageidiot It is what it is. I don't care for the most part but between this and banning animals crackers and other non-sensical things people are just going to need to sat stop at some point.
Whatever helps you sleep at night and shuts you up... so yes?
The rule only applies to Holyrood (the Scottish Parliament). It doesn't affect real people fortunately.
Really! Keeps ME up at night.
It should. Once you start to ban reality, the end is near.
Government language police... and you seem to welcome it. Scary as hell!
