Why do girls cry when they see celebrities?

at concerts and stuff. I just don't understand it...is it tears of joy? what are they feeling when this happens? because they almost look like they're in pain haha. I am not trying to sound rude I just don't understand it

star struck an emotional reaction exacerbated. This is the brain in the above high alpha state, into the beta range of function. This is a state of confusion for the senses, and one will leap though intense emotions in a short period. in short over exited.
