YES! It's a hashtag with a secret message or purpose. Misandry. It's used as an excuse to show hatred towards men. And it has been proven countless times. So many false accusations. I mean, an elementary school boy got falsely accused of harassment by three girls. They later admitted that they made it up because they didn't like him. WTF! Now his life is ruined and he doesn't even know it yet. Pound that #metoo sh*t and let's light up #mentoo and #himtoo movements.

I think its good that people speak up about harrasment if it actually happend and it was real not like someone accidently touching someone on the shoulder. However it would be even better that if with PROOF someone was guilty of sexually assualt and they posted who did it. And again with proof and real assualt or rape.

absolutely. it started out really great and actually served its purpose in calling attention to certain people, backing up others' stories, making it okay for more people to speak out (e. g. terry crews made a lot more men speak out). but now it's being used like shit. especially this whole Ronaldo mess.

For the legitimate claims, it's good, and I support it. However, I ran across an article by a woman named Nanette LaRee Hernandez. In her piece, titled "#MeToo: The 'Pretty Little Liars'​ Club", she lays out her case that a huge amount of the claims are literally copied and pasted over and over - suggestive that most of the accounts are false, shook me to the core. My sympathy began to teeter on the brink of rage.
