Do "just friends" slow dance at prom?

I'm going to prom with a girl from church. She is o e of my sisters best friends and we have become pretty good friends. We are going as friends but I like her as more than that but I don't know of she likes me as more than friends. Anyways we are going as friends and this is my first prom and I was wondering if people that go to prom as friends slow dance.

Also I have no idea what kind of corsage to get. Should it match her dress, and do I get the wrist kind or some other kind. Please help!

Nobody slow dances anymore in this toxic country. I think you are pulling our legs. America today is a culture of toxic hatred. The entire dance scene, including at school, has degenerated into just two forms of music; country and rap/hip hop. Record numbers of high school and college kids are in gangs every day. Punishments at home do not work anymore; in fact, they make kids worse! Even spanking a kid and locking him in his room for 2 weeks is even a nuclear bomb in an out of control fire; it is like trying to extinguish a house fire with a 3,000-megaton bomb. There are kids murdering their parents for disciplining them! This is a toxic, evil generation that is becoming more violent every day. And the days of slow dancing are over.

Yeh, I slowed danced with guy-friends at my school's 6th form ball. It's no big deal.
