I made a mistake one time at night in a short construction zone. We have construction zones in our area that might have traffic lanes change daily. That is what happened to me and I was tired too. Got stopped by the police and asked if I had been drinking.
But today was different. It was a straightaway with nothing to confuse the person. They were clearly driving on the wrong side. It went on for awhile and when I realized the person wasn't going to stop I started to call 911. We went over a hill and another car was heading toward the car and swerved. That is when the person finally moved over. I wondered if they forgot the driving pattern direction because they were driving completely straight or if they had a brain issue. Have you ever witnessed such a thing? To be honest it really made me go into fight and flight. Much different than my regular anxiety.

I’ve seen it a lot in south Florida. It’s either tourists from over seas, old people out of their minds on pharmaceuticals, or middle aged women. As far as construction and all that, nope they just tend to do it when turning on 4-6 lane roads that have a median in the middle.
To be honest some of the ways they build exits, entrances and things like that in Texas are really confusing especially at night. It's like engineers on crack but I assume it's a cost cutting thing of sorts.
Did you have the talk that everyone needs? I had to tell my mom no you shouldn't drive. I mean she probably could have driven in a pinch if she had to flee for her life.
