If it happens a lot... Take a tram or a bus next time; they communicate with traffic lights in order to get priority. Which makes a lot of sense, as they have to keep a schedule, and because a bus or tram carries a lot more people then a car.

Yes. I got in the car and started it. Immediately there were red lights all over my dashboard. When cars go bad they go really bad!

Where I live there is only one set of traffic lights so that is never an issue.

A lot of times the traffic lights are considered control lights to keep the traffic a little bit slower as you go in your direction. No matter how you pace yourself you will always hit a red light.
