Our politicians serve as horrible examples on how to behave. Our media does the same thing and has done so since the Reagan/Gingrich era when right-wing blowhards took over talk radio. Now both liberals and conservatives act the same way.

Mainstream media doesn't educate, it propagandizes. It simply panders to certain demographics (limited to the narrow scope of either Republican or Democrat) with partisan opinions and sarcastic jokes and snark about the "opposition". There is no useful or meaningful content. It's like the entire media is on the same page and talks about the same shit to distract rather than inform. Citizens aren't given more than one point of view with which to form informed opinions.

For example, when did any mainstream media outlet ever not say that Assad is a brutal dictator who murders his own people and uses chemical weapons? When has the media ever questioned the government narrative about foreign policy? When has it ever questioned the facts about 911? I could go on. You get the point.

So I think what's wrong with society today stems from the sophisticated control of information by government and corporate oligarchs who promote divisiveness, fear and war as a means of remaining in power.

There’s too much insecurity. When it comes to love, it just depends on what you allow in your life and who you allow into your circles. Love is the same as it’s always been in my own experience. I know what you mean though. I see I on Instagram all the time, but that’s not my life.

Puppies over human fetuses? That’s a tough one. I’m pro-choice, but also pro-life. Whatever people want to do with themselves in terms of that, go for it. If they’d rather fund planned parenthood/abortion clinics than Feed The Children, go for it. On that one, I can’t put my two cents into because it’s always been that way. Some people prefer the companionship of animals over people. Even if it means feeding a puppy over a child.

Okay, looking at the poverty one from my perspective of living in LA, fuck that. The people of California are so wrong. They choose to blame the overpriced housing over mental health care and personal health care. No. Help support your people first with real medical issues first before you start working out the poverty situation. You clearly don’t know what’s wrong with the environment you live in.

As far as Antifa goes, fuck those fascists.

There’s a lot wrong with everything. The bigger picture like the less fortunate and bombs being dropped are hard to dismiss. Everything else, it’s more like if you let it into your life, it’ll destroy you. I know damn well that despite living in LA, I know a lot of people who could give a rats ass about what’s going on around them. They’re living their best life. That also causes a problem though because when it comes to voting, they won’t. Then you have shit like prop 47 and 57. I just feel like what impacts the bigger picture is indifference. People thinking the world won’t get better despite what they do. It’s something that needs to be rewritten so that people understand how much their choices impact their daily lives.

The core of the all problems?

Raising children in wrong/bad ways, I know you can't raise everyone on the same system and no system is perfect, but for example western families have too many flaws regarding that matter, like father absence, seperation, immature parents, the government sticking their nose and forcing you to raise YOUR child THEIR way, you can have a great people who were raised by a Muslim, Jewish, Christian, or atheist families, so it's not about culture, it's about those special things that parents give to their offspring, we'd have to find what's in common between all those families and we'd have a rough answer on what the perfect family looks like.

People respect our animals more than our potential to be humans. Society is immoral at large. We have men who are 35 who would rather sext 16 year old immature girls than open the door for ladies his own age. Yes, not a minority in number but the fact that about 25% of men are this way is sad. Yes. Look it up. 25% of men would fail a penile plethysmograph test if shown pictures of girls about 13 to 16.
