I'm a 21 year old guy who's been with my 20 year old girlfriend for 2 years. Recently, she put up a new profile picture on Facebook. She had just bought a new, whole wall world map. She was posing in front of it and had just had her hair and make up done also.
In cliche style, I commented telling her how amazingly attractive she looked. I also left a second comment saying "Oh, by the way, awesome map". She deleted the first comment in which I complemented her beauty and just kept the comment I made about the map.
She's done this a few times over the time we've been together. I know I'm supposed to be the man and all, but it hurts a little when I let her know how beautiful etc she is and she deletes such comments sometimes. I don't compliment her in an over the top way either, just something simple.
I think this is a little rude personally. I know it's only Facebook but it comes across as very disrespectful. What do you think?
