I would give my seat to any woman, or child in any establishment, Transportation vehicle, waiting room etc. Size , age , reason should not matter Being a Gentleman should come natural...
If I had to pick between the two, obviously the pregnant women gets it. Other than that, I usually would offer my seat to elderly or someone who looks tired - regardless of their weight.
I say both and if a pregnant woman looks very very fit - like she is less than 1 months in or has insanely good genes - I might not even give up my seat for her.
I don't think I would look at an overweight woman and think oh I should give her my seat. Pregnant women on the other hand, there is just an innate desire to take care of them. Plus I wouldn't want to offend the overweight woman
That is an interesting one but mines more in line with the burden of weight. They both are carrying weight and likely are both struggling the same as the other, mainly in terms of their weight. I honestly could see myself giving it to the heavy set lady if she is struggling to stand and breathing heavy. Although you do make a good point, older ladies at that weight make better candidates but if the pregnant lady was not struggling and she was confidently holding herself up by the bar without struggle it would go to the heavy set one
The answer is pretty obvious, i would give it to either the pregnant women or keep it. The pregnant women has a child within her and the need to protect said child. Tge fat women on the other hand has less to loose by standing even compared to me, soneone who is very skinny/boney. Or more including callories.
Which is in most need of the seat? The offer weight woman clearly does but you don't say what condition the pregnant woman is in. Maybe you can shame someone else for a second seat.
I would give my seat to the pregnant lady, no doubt. She's carrying another precious life inside her body. I give my seat to pregnant women, people carrying toddlers and old people.
Pregnant, yes 100%. Overweight... Well, if she can walk to get to the bus then she can stand to lose a couple calories standing up still. between the two; pregnant woman always.

But of the 2, I would have to say that depends on health and the ability to stand...

I give my seat for elderly and pregnant women already, so yes to the pregnant woman.
You should have made the choices for the question pregnant woman and elderly/disabled. Feel like that would have been a harder choice.

Pregnant woman absolutely.
Overweight woman apparently needs more opportunity to work her muscles. I wouldn't feel right robbing her off that chance.
Def the prego one, or if the lady is holding a small child or is handicap or something. But if your able and stuff, I'm most likley gonna keep my seat
My thoughts;
-Pregnant woman: "ok, she needs my seat, standing like that won't be good for her".
-Fat woman: "she looks in pain... she needs to walk to work and lose some weight".
The overweight woman might get offended and then start yelling at me.
But I’ll give it to the pregnant woman.
Pregnant. She is trying to bring new life into this world
I would give up my seat for any woman, but if forced to choose the pregnant woman comes first because 2 lives, not one, are affected by her health.
If she was clearly pregnant or seemed like she might be. Then sure
But overweight I don't know case by case basis maybe.
If she's pregnant then yes unless i just really dont feel good. If she's overweight than no unless its an elder

I would give it to fat woman, because she seems about to collapse. If she needs to get to a hospital, it might help her last a little longer.
I’d give it to a pregnant woman in a heartbeat. I’d never give it to an overweight person
I'm old fashioned and give up my seat to any woman. Well, except for that one that has a 5 o'clock shadow, pees in the mens room, but wears a dress.
