Well with all this talk about white male privilege ( which exist to an extent )
If he suffers from depression , or lost a family member , studies show that white men commit more suicides

Do people think white men's sufferings is a joke? Of course there are people who have it worse out there but it seems when white men complain it's seems to be a joke

I show sympathy the most to people who I can relate with their situation and people who genuinely just made a mistake and the outcome outcomes they got was worse than what they actually did.

Like you can do something wrong that was a small mistake, maybe you felt like you shouldn't but for emotional reasons went through with it. Then the backlash was very very harsh in response to that. I have some sympathy but not much. Because it is your fault, but maybe you don't deserve THAT much punishment.

If you made a mistake unknowingly and got punished I feel a lot of sympathy for you because you didn't know and/or had no way to know ahead of time. So you're just getting a smack to the face and dont know why.

If I can relate to you directly, then I'll naturally feel more sympathetic by nature because I've been there and remembering how I felt with my experience will relate to how I feel towards yours.

Pretty much applies to everyone across the board. Kids, men, women.

No I probably have less sympathy for people who are more different to myself on some level. Not consciously but as far as I understand we have built in biases and tribalism that makes us prefer people like ourselves. But I don't think I have any more or less sympathy for anyone based on race or gender.

I don’t feel sorry for white men unless he lived in a poor neighborhood that was majority brown Nd black if not boohoo he lives a decent life and most white peoples sob stories from upper class neighborhoods really is they lost a family member such as their parent or something. The examples that I've seen of 'male privilege' are are either only limited to men that are rich and/or white, or are double-edged swords and don't exactly benefit men like women seem to think.

There are a shit ton of examples in which men get the short end of the stick compared to women.
