And they're begging to join the EU, but as much as they want to be European, they are Asian.

Though geographically, the country sits in both Europe and Asia.

We don’t beg to join the EU, In fact, at first the EU asked us to become a member. Also, we are the member of the Council of Europe. Already, I do not think the EU will stand for a long time after the UK leaves.

Also, Turkey thinks it is an Islamic country and yet they are very western aka the LGBTQ community has many rights there and you can drink beer there. Plus, you do not see women covering up in Turkey

Don’t you see women covering up in Turkey? I live in Turkey and there are many women covering up here. Plus, and yes, you can drink beer here, as in every country. But beer prices are quite expensive. Also, there are no additional rights granted to LGBTQ individuals.
