Do you think my teacher is a creep?

He always stands near me. He doesn't care if I play my ipod in class but does if other students play games on their iPods he gives them a warning or takes them away (same goes for chewing gum in class.) He doesn't seem to care if I'm not taking notes but again, if someone else doesn't take notes they get in trouble. Somedays when I get to class early I just sit and listen to music and occasionly when I look up I catch him staring at me and he automatically looks away. He always says hi to me in the hallways and tries to bring up conversations even when I'm already speaking with friends. Is he just overly friendly or creepy?

And today when I handed in my paper he said "Thank you '(insert my name here)'" yet he didn't say it to anyone else.

Maybe it's because you're a good student? I mean on tests and things, not necessarily always taking notes in class. Some of my teachers don't care if I listen to my ipod, eat in class, or leave without a note, but other kids in my class can't. I think it's strange, and definitely unfair, but it doesn't have to mean he's crushing on you. Ignore it if it's bothering you, and tell someone about it if it gets any worse.
