I am doing this question because I am watching TV where there is a show where two different group of people create to teams to do different challenges, in this episode there are "Family Day" and "Gay Pride" teams, so eterosexual against homosexual. In a phase of they show they have to express their opinion about the other teams. One of the topic discussed on this episode was "Family". Eterosexual people affirmed that maternity is a female thing, the homosexual people affirmed that they deserve to have kids because a lot of eterosexual abandon their child.
I think that family is where there is love and respect so I don't care if family is composed by a man and a woman or two me or two women, but I also think that from a biological and natural point of view family is composed by a woman and a man.

I could care less what people do with their lives. But when i think about how my nephew had to come to me asking me to explain about his friend who has 2 dads and he was asking the friend for the mom, then it becomes a problem. Because now, i have to explain to the kid that some people make other choice in which my opinion is wrong, but good to them, but in fact is it good or not? If a father is, strictly speaking, required then the male genetic source would NEVER be allowed to escape that responsibility. This is not the case, and the argument fails here.
From a natural point often a male is not involved in child rearing. If we are talking about animals, sometimes the mother isn't and the father is.
Children raised in a cohesive family of two parents statistically are more successful.

I think that a child needs a father and a mother, a masculine and feminine role model. Love and support may be the most important aspects of parentage but not the only ones. in my opinion, it's really a strawman to suggest that because love matters most, nothing else about parenting does. Without a good fatherly figure a girl does not learn from the opposite sex and on what to expect from men as she grows up, and vice versa for a boy and his mother. Conversely both sexes need their respective parents on the same gender to develop properly into their God-given gender.
I'm a Christian and ultimately do not support homosexuality at all. Neither from a Biblical standpoint do I think it's for me to get out of the way to infringe upon people's liberties and choices in this matter, even though I would seek to convert people by testimony given the chance. But when it comes to parenting I am less liberal, for that concerns more than just the gay couple but a child, and a child is not a right. It's a privilege.
It may be helpful to recall that “family” is a human social construct. As such, there is nothing “natural” about it. If family was a natural thing, then mothers and fathers would ALWAYS be good... because it would be in their nature to be good and unnatural for them to be bad.

Just because women cannot impregnate women and men cannot bear children does not mean that gay men and women cannot be good parents. I think a child raised by its own biological mother and father is ideal; but of course that ideal is not always viable. (Eg: absent parents, abandonment, abuse, etc.) Every step removed from that ideal is going to be less optimal than the last. However, if the option is between "no parents" and "sub-optimal parenting arragement", then the latter is likely preferable.
The alternatives being temporary foster care are a fuck ton worse. a lot of abuses of multiple natures. The nature of the adoption process is way more involved and more wholesome.

I think its healthier for a child to grow up with a mother and a father, but that doesn't mean gay couples shouldn't be allowed to adopt. They should go through the same process as everyone else, and if they are seen fit to adopt then by all means, adopt.
