Wisdom is the practice of using knowledge in "correct" ways. Knowledge is just what you know
Wisdom is more putting it into action where intelligence is knowing things
Intelligence to me, is knowing a lot more than a few. Wisdom is, to me, planning ahead.
The wise do what’s smart, the intelligent know what’s smart to do
Intelligence is knowing a great number of facts and having the IQ to deduce new conclusions from those facts.
Wisdom is knowing what to do with those facts and conclusions.
Think the difference is it you wear runners or socks and sandals
Yes exactly.
Knowledge is understanding things, facts, figures, things you learn.
Wisdom is knowing what to do with it.
Knowledge is knowing things. Intelligence is being able to apply that knowledge in different situations. And wisdom is having accumulated knowledge and intelligence through life experience.
Intelligence is a torque wrench.
Wisdom is knowing what it's for and how to use it.
i think intelligence can be self-taught or by teachers. wisdom is self-learned from personal experience. it's best to have both because experience is the culmination of the two
Indeed there is. Intelligence is the ability to adapt and assimilate new information. Wisdom is knowing how to weight the potential consequences of actions by self or others /what can occur in different situations.
An intelligent person has knowledge. (Read it in a book)
A wise man has applicable knowledge.(lived it)
Intelligence is created through learning, however wisdom is not teachable it is something you have to earn through experience.
One is the ability to absorb information, the other is how you use it in any situation that could come up.
I consider the difference to be that intelligence is understanding the things outside of yourself, wisdom is understanding what is inside yourself.
Wisdom beats intelligence. Misdirected intelligence needs no enemy, it destroys itself.
Knowledge is information. Wisdom is the application of information.
Wisdom is something you gain from experience and intelligence is something that you gain from being taught. That’s my guess.
Intelligence = The capacity to acquire knowledge.
Wisdom = To have gained correct perspective and how to handle matters.
the tomato one is the most accurate example of the difference iv ever heard
It boils down to learning from your mistakes 😂😂😂😂😂
They’re synonyms. You can take both examples and switch the words and they’ll be just as concise.
Intelligence is what you have while studying...
Wisdome is what you acquire by experience...
Intelligence is the information, wisdom is the knowing how to use and apply the information correctly.
I would say intelligence is how efficiently/creatively you can solve problems where as wisdom is just experience
Intelligence is the ability to engage in critical thinking and anticipate consequences. Wisdom is knowing that you aren't as smart as you think you are.
Yes that quote, of miles kingdom is one I think hits it just correct. Knowledge is great but wisedom is what to do with it...
Intelligence is obtained through books and teachings.
Wisdom is learned through life, and hardships; trial and error.
Life gives you wisdom. Academia gives you intelligence. However life can make you intelligent 😉
Intelligence is some born gift. Knowledge is something you can gather by reading , watching , listening ,...
Wisdom is when you know the truth and purpose behind your knowledge and it needs hard work too.
Intelligence is something you memorize and learn academically but wisdom is something about analyzing things and a more practical one.
This is why you can be intelligent and stupid at the same time and you can be wise but ignorant too.
How you handle your emotions an how you talk to people
Yes. I would say the combination of knowledge and wisdom could be called "experience".
Just look at the politicians!
This a ology bounced over my head
Anology*
Politicians may be intelligent, articulate, even highly educated; but which one do you think is wise?
That's a tough question to be answered
Spell choice
You already spell the word there is no point me doing it😅
No lol. I was being silly. In some RPGs you need intelligence for wizard spells and wisdom for cleric spells.
I know 😊
There are three questions can you answer them all please
I want to be wise. Wisdom is more intuitive.
They’re too different to compete.
What game do you play of RPG which involves wizards?
None rn. Used to play D&D and WoW.
In that you needed to spell words?
😂😂😂
😅😎🤣
Amount of time it's aquired
@WowwGirl good point 😊
Good game lol
Wisdom comes over time or through learned lessons. Intellect is gaining knowledge about things
Intelligence can be taught. Wisdom is learned
Six letters? Hahaha!
Knowing six letters difference is intelligence or being wise?
I would say wise & add a word to that making it a wise-ass & if it were intelligence I think I would say smart-ass instead. Talk about a tough question, my brain hurts!
Nobody is paying attention to all three questions but love the definitions what they are providing gives you a perspective
Fuck I didn’t even read the questions in the photos! I only read the main headline question like everyone else. If a tomato is a fruit how come we don’t put it in a fruit salad? WTF Brother?
Because you are wise answer is in the question bro😂
I would much rather be wise
You're born with intelligence, you gain wisdom
Wisdom comes from experience.
Wisdom applies intelligence, which is raw ability
wisdom is something that is built on experience, intelligence is something that is learned
Intelligence is inherited and Wisdom is aquíred
We are suffering because of them.
Really the same thing
Wisdom is emotional intelligence.
Intelligence is smarts where wisdom is experience
intelligence is inherent, wisdom is acquired.
Wisdom is achieved, and way more important.
