@Guffrus You may be of the opinion that we are repulsive, but chaotic is just incorrect. Christendom is about order, and the Bible never supports uprisings, chaos or rebellion against the institutions of mankind. And if we were to be in the situation where we venture out and try to prevent rapes, murders, theft, vandalism, cannibalism, because all crimes are allowed, then considering that to be representative of repulsive people is bizarre.
@Guffrus 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."
Certain doctrinal beliefs have resulted in denominations, but the fundamentals of Christendom have always been agreed upon by all Christians, whom happen to make out 2.3 billion people of the world's population. The first universities in Europe were started by Christians, Christian monasteries advanced technology in metallurgy and agriculture. Through Judaeo-Christian values the ideals of Western society was founded. Do differences exist? Indeed, but that none of us agree on anything is a laughable suggestion.
So either you are sorely misinformed or you're just lying against better judgement.
What does and does not sound like the mind of a Christian to you is irrelevant.
I did not say that none of you agree on anything, I said that there are no 2 people of faith who have exactly the same faith and you dont get to choose anyway, your claim rests entirely on a supernatural entity who makes the rules, not you, not someone at your church, your imaginary friend makes the rules, so you do not get to even have denominations.
You have departed from reality by claiming to have knowledge which is beyond human capability.
You dont like that i think a Christian mind is a confused mind?
Ok you can have that but what you think is laughable or if you think i am telling lies or that i am misinformed is also irrelevant.
There is no basis in fact for any of your beliefs, none.
No person person of faith or even without faith has ever been able to make a valid argument for the existance of the entity you believe exists. None. There is a reason for that, it isn't possible because no evidence has ever existed.
@Guffrus 1. Argument of example. The Bible does not preach confusion nor division. We're arguing over the nature of Christendom, how is it a surprise that I reference the Holy text? It'd be strange rather if I left it out completely.
2. Nope. Argument of actuality. The fundamentals have always been the same.
3. That's not even a coined term for a fallacious style of arguing. Historical points are completely valid.
4. *Exactly* the same faith, in all regards? No. Neither does the Bible preach this. Romans 14:12 "So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God." The Bible says that some observe this or that holiday, some keep the sabbath and some don't, such details are of no importance and not to be argued over. They merely divide and distract from the loving Grace of God, and the salvation of Jesus Christ.
Where have I claimed to have that? Making things up now are we. On the contrary, to be a Believer is to admit to the superior knowledge of God, and how there are things mankind will never comprehend and cannot comprehend, nor are we meant to.
No I don't like it, but that wasn't the point either. Neither what I think nor what you think is relevant here. This isn't about subjective thoughts, at least not as far as I am concerned, you did initiate this banter with such a line though.
Not if you actually are misinformed and it's not just something I say. And since you yourself were, *humble* enough to, "give me that", you admit to it.
@Guffrus That's just a common go-to line for atheists that's incorrect. There are a plethora of arguments. I can give you one. We are willing to look upon a car and understand that it did not assemble itself with all its intricate parts and tandem, same principle with planes and literature, yet for some reason the tandem and harmonious intricacy of nature itself bears no hint of intelligent design? Or take the evolutionist stance of Big Bang. The belief that nothing at all once existed and without any agency whatsoever, nothing exploded and became everything, that's what you call logical? Please refrain from talking as if you yourself are the absolute authority on this matter and hold expertise. Your malicious slander of Faith reveals how you haven't really immersed yourself in this topic but merely spew forth atheist platitudes.
I gave no offense to no one. I did not speak arrogantly nor presumptuously, yet you couldn't stand that I mentioned being Christian and so elected to go out of your way to call me and mine, repulsive. I really pity a man with so much pointless hatred, who's also so far away from the Truth.
Look its obviously pointless trying to reason with you because if you were capable of thinking you wouldn't need to be told these ideas are nonsense in the first place.
@Guffrus Do you really not hear yourself? You're a grown man going off at someone half your age trying desperately to taunt him as if this is sandbox-kindergarten play. You don't have to be so hostile.
You dont get it, I've already explained but it just bounces off your stupid thick skull.
It wasn't just some fucking line when i said that trying to reason with you is pointless.
YOU won't ever get it, it doesn't matter what anyone says it makes no difference because you aren't interested in the truth, you aren't interested in facts or reality.
You just go through the motions and pretend that you are having a real argument with someone so that you can feel like you aren't utter fucking moron that you are.
You would be worthy of respect if you understood that your faith is just that, its faith, you understand its not real but you choose to believe it anyway for whatever reason but you dont do that, you want your cake and eat it too, its not enough for you to have this fucking ridiculous semi shard delusion you have to pretend that its has validity outside of your mind, but it doesn't and it never will.
Obviously i cannot be certain in the strictest sense that evidence will never present itself but as near as makes no difference it will never happen.
The reason i mock you and insult you is because there is nothing else to be done.
You have departed from reality completely and you dont even know that.
You just ignore everything that causes a conflict in your mind and then talk about something else.
Your pity is irrelevant as you surely must realise or perhaps you dont, i dont care either way it makes no difference to anything. If you were more honest or more aware you might realise that you are trying to pity me to create an illusion to cling to that you have a position of power or authority which you dont have. You dont occupy a moral high ground and you dont have anything to stand on in the real world, the only thing you have are your delusions.
Prayer equally is irrelevant and more of the same stuff, this whole thing is a fantasy so why would i care what you are wishing for?
Its like me saying that i will flush some toilet paper for you in hopes that you talked less bullshit in future.
Its just nonsense, sadly that won't help you at all.
No, you dont get to do that either, religion cannot claim ownership over morality, especially when it clearly and repeatedly demonstrates it doesn't know what it is.
@Guffrus Sorry, but that is not for you to dictate. And God, not religion, is the arbiter of Morality. No one can explain the wish and will to do good deeds in any other way. The minute you admit that right and wrong exist, in any way, shape or form, you stand without explanation for why that is.
@Guffrus I did nothing but pursue an honest debate. You're the one who abruptly stopped debating and started with the invective's instead. I can only assume because the actual arguments ran out.
The arguments have been made, you're just ignoring *all* arguments that include in favor of creationism. And pretend that there aren't valid points.
This tangent of yours if anything is chaos. No self-control at all. You ought to be ashamed frankly. And I will not give this foolish talk the dignity of further addressing it.
Truth is everything to me. And Jesus is the Truth, the Way, and the Life. Nothing you say, nothing you do, nothing you type, will ever change that. And despite all this, He loves you as much as he does me. For our God is a good God. Good evening to you Sir.
@Gruffrus This may not be a formal debate, but ad hominem attacks demonstrate an inability to put together a rational argument, not to mention making you look bad. I hope that your last comment gets your account shut down. You tell someone to go kill themselves because they don't agree with you and try to defend themselves when you hurl insults? One could make a case that YOU are the repulsive one here.
@Sixgun77 Shut your stupid cunt mouth and fuck off while you are doing it.
You are no different to this other prick.
What would be the point in trying to make a solid and valid argument if the ignorant shit for brained cunt reading it won't know that?
See?
No?
So now you know why i tell you to go and kill yourself, or not?
I dont really care anymore.
You are fucking wrong, I didn't lose when i told the guy he was a fucking cunt, I won ages ago but neither you nor him understands that because you are fucking retarded.
Seeing as how I'm agnostic and not Christian, that's a definite difference between the two of us. And I do indeed understand the value of making a valid argument, just as much as I understand that you're being emotional and not rational. You can claim you've "won" all you like, but that won't make it so.
I was reading the disagreement between @alexanderbrunnrgaard @guffrus and @Sixgun77. I wonder why atheists are so hell bent on trying to disprove religion. Also, why do they get so pissy and hateful when religious folk point out flaws in their reasoning. All @alexanderbrunnrgaard did was prove guffrus's point. Also, alex has shown a tendency to deliberately provoke theists and says the most hateful and harmful things to them, much like a rebellious teenager who knows he is wrong but wants to try to have his way however he can. Spoiled brat is all I see when I see his latter responses to guffrus.
@jgokgotit Thank you for that kind comment in my defense. What guffrus has been doing is what we Christians could call a manifestation. It's hard to tell over the internet but this man could be under demonic influence, and demons cannot stand the name of Jesus Christ, and so they lash out in the form of Guffrus' tantrums wherein he hurls every insult he can think of and displays a voracious fury, as if anger makes him more right.
Even for unbelievers one must wonder what could possibly prompt someone to explode with lack of self-control and with such malice at a stranger online, completely unprovoked starting a fight merely because the name Christian came about in a fully docile way.
Then of course, you can also infer the worldly explanation that Guffrus wasn't expecting to be questioned thoroughly from someone used to defend his faith, and so when arguments ran out he was too proud to let it go. But it does still strike you as an obscene amount of hatred over a petty dispute.
@alexanderbrunnrgaard You are welcome. I will always defend another Christian. However, while I get what you are saying about how demons work, there is a saying that you attract more flies with sugar than vinegar. Another responsibility as a Christian is to not try to force your point on people. Look at Jesus. Yes, he courageously told the truth he was sent to tell, but he never pushed what he was saying. I am not saying you are wrong to defend the truth, for you are not, but never waste breath arguing with those who do not wish to hear it. I believe you expended too many words and posts trying to defend your point to @guffrus and all you do is prove his point about Christians being too pushy. If it is clear that you will not reach someone, save your energy for those you can reach and let God do his job. It is our job not to push. As for @guffrus, if you are so confident in your belief (or lack of) why do you feel provoked enough to attack someone in the vile manner you do? I've seen this pattern with you. You literally spew hatred against Christians just because we think different from you. It is ok to disagree with us, but to say stuff along the lines of "I wish Christians would die" or anything of that variation is plain ignorant, just like if a racist said "all blacks should die". Do you see the same level of hatred in both statements? Because that hatred is what you are spreading and it makes atheists look mentally immature at best and, at worst, look like hateful people who cannot stand someone with different opinions than themselves. Also, the kind of hate speech you've displayed here is actually illegal and can be prosecuted by federal law so you should be very careful, even if GaG does not ban you.
@jgokgotit Whether or not I, "pushed" anything onto him I think is debatable, I rather think I simply went against his hatred and his rationale which did draw out a bit, but I have abandoned any discourse with this man for several days now. I am fully aware of the principles of useless arguments and fruitless cases. But nonetheless I see what you're saying. Christians can only show people the door, whether or not they enter it is up to their free will.
@alexanderbrunnrgaard I'm glad you get it. Show them the door, but never try to push them through it lol It is hard for Christians, especially men, to be the light and contain their passion at the same time. Even I fail at this sometimes.
@jgokgotit Of course. At the same time, these may very well be the End Days. Christian influence must increase, that as many as possibly might be saved before it's too late. I believe we must balance ourselves between boldly preaching the Gospel, as the Bible commands we do lest we end up being lukewarm or, "couch" Christians, and being gracious in our speech. I believe it all comes down to the manner in which you pursue Christian faith with people more so than the very act of being enthusiastic to share. While it is true that conversion ultimately isn't up to us, this is no excuse for passiveness. As long as your mannerisms doesn't imitate Guffrus', I believe the Bible is very much clear that passionate spreading of Christendom isn't only good but what we're supposed to do.
@Guffrus I see no "repulsive chaos" from @AlexanderBrunnrgaard here.
What I do see is you being hostile towards him for simply being Christian, he never said anything wrong.
You may be an atheist, who doesn't believe in God and you may believe religion is some kind of "fairytale" and you have the right to believe that, and as somebody who follows religion myself, I do disagree with you on that but none the less I respect your belief.
And I think the least you could is respect Alexander's Christian beliefs even if you disagree with them. I respect your beliefs even if I disagree with them, and I respect Alexander's beliefs even if I do disagree with certain elements of them- to clarify, I am a Muslim and Christianity and Islam do have similarities but we also disagree about certain things, but none the less I respect Christianity.
I think you should really open you're mind, you are an adult.
Y'know, according to the bible, rape isn't a crime, unless the woman is married or betrothed. Slavery isn't a crime either, because God allows it. Homosexuality is a crime however, and one that must be punished with death. So since you follow biblical law instead of human law, I assume you own slaves, rape women then take them as your wives, and kill any homosexual you find?
by the way I can offer you the verses that say these things, if you don't believe me. So instead of calling me a liar, try asking me, because I've probably read your book more than you have.
@devilman666 Me and bible? ;) You assume I'm christian? That's amusing:) Thanks for a smile! 😁 Your assumption is not entirely right (If you want to sort me in, you should try Tao Te Ching!):) The Bible however contains some truths but not all by far and in my opinion too what is in Bible isn't necessarily always the truth.
@Regmorus my bad then, I assumed you meant you followed the law of the bible rather than the law of men, it's something I hear christians say a lot so I thought that was what you meant.
I think a lot of people would not do it unless it was a self defense thing because most humans are not capable of it but everyone has something in them that will allow them to defend themselves even if they are not a violent person

Chaos: a state of utter confusion or disorder.
Sounds like the mind of a Christian to me.
There is not a pair amoungst the lot of you who can even agree with each other about your own beliefs.
@Guffrus 1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."

Go and fucking look it up you degenerate cunt, Im not fucking doing it for you.
You are such a fucking dishonest, clueless little cunt.
You want me to waste my fucking time trying to explain it to you?
I won't, because you won't fucking listen anyway, as i have said, if you were going to you would have done it on your own by now already.
You dont fucking give a shit about the truth, so fucking shut up and fuck off you ignorant fucking cunt.
Gruffus, you lost the entire argument when you opened up with an ad hominem.
@Sixgun77 No, i didn't. Fuck off and die somewhere you stupid piece of shit.
@Guffrus I did nothing but pursue an honest debate. You're the one who abruptly stopped debating and started with the invective's instead. I can only assume because the actual arguments ran out.

NO YOU FUCKING DID NOT.
You dont fucking get it, I am not interested in wasting my fucking time with you.
I am not going to pretend that this is a debate, that you are man of reason or that you are capable of the honest required to find truth.
You aren't legitimate, YOU are not legitimate.
I lost the moment i said anything to you at all, i should just instantly block all you mindless fucking cunts.

Simple frustration over your unwillingness to understand and engage in honest examination of evidence and what evidence is.
If you are looking for something evil you need look no further than that.

@SpiderManFan2002 Why thank you for your added support too Spider. Bless you!
@alexanderbrunnrgaard Right back at you! xD
I'd probably go into hiding or hang with a large group and commit crimes for the sake of survival/blending in.
I'd attempt to bluff my way into as many company's buildings as I could and see how far I can get before they notice I am not legit.
I've done this a lot (paid by the CEO) of the company to test the security. Its hella easy
Of course I won't commit any crime. Not the human laws are the ones that forbid it to me.
@devilman666 like your response hahahah
@devilman666 No prob, I get it, what one thinks most probably as first thing when one reads "not the human laws do this and that..."=)
I don't feel the need to do anything considered illegal anyway, so no it's be different from any other day for me.
Nothing... but I would shoot dead anyone who got near me looking to commit one against me.
I don't think I'd do anything. I'd just try to protect myself from people who would try to hurt me and my family.
I guess I won't commit any crime.. those people who I hate will go out and kill themeselves during the purge😜🤪😆
Honestly, I am so fucking lame, but probably nothing. I would just quarantine and wait for it to end.
Yeah i would but not go onna killong spree i would do some invest fraud or something that makes me a shit tone of money
If the opportunity would appear to make some bad people pay, oh yes...
I'd hide somewhere safe until it was over.
Maybe I'd illegal download some movies and video games too 🙊
I think a lot of people would not do it unless it was a self defense thing because most humans are not capable of it but everyone has something in them that will allow them to defend themselves even if they are not a violent person
Rape/murder people probably
https://www.youtube.com/embed/77jqLe7lA34reminds me of a rick and morty episode
Looks who’s purging now
there's literally nothing good to come from even thinking about things like that.
I would just walk in to a store, grab those cardboard bags they sell and shove in there whatever the hell I wanted and just walk out.
I'm a cop so... I guess I'd take a nap 😂
Wouldn't have anything to do.
Okay, since we all know that ain't gonna happen, how about an international mandatory hall pass day for couples instead?
Probably expend a lot of ammo fending off the people coming for me.
Probably bunker down in my own home and buy some stuff off the dark web.
