This is something dark I wanna bring up because it's just something interesting to think about. Why should a short guy respect women when 95% of women on earth are designed to go after tall men?

Women and tall guys don't care about how mentally fucked up you are. They'll mentally abuse you even more by not taking you seriously. Most short men have no incentive to like or respect women or other men in general?
People get bullied at school for all sort of things ( gender, sexuality, style, shyness, looks, height, weight.. ). Bullying is wrong in all it's forms and it can make the person dealing with it depressed, anxious or at the very least insecure. But being bullied doesn't mean that you should disrespect everyone and bully people back. Being bullied doesn't mean that you can never be happy or that everyone is going to bully you. It's not easy to get over it but you can heal from it, become your own person and find joy in things and in people. Not all women or men want to abuse you. There a are people who would be happy to get to know you for you and will appreciate you. You shouldn't expect people to take care of your mental state because not everyone will be kind and understanding and they have their own psychological trauma to deal with. Being short is in no way something that should make life miserable. I've never seen a short guy and thought " oh my god. How dare he be short". Most of my friends are short and I even know people with dwarfism that are leading life like everyone. Life sucks for everyone for different reasons, we all have our insecurities to work on accepting. If I feel that I'm discriminated for being short and unappreciated, I'd surround yourself with better people and I'd take time to take care of my mental and emotional health to learn to accept and appreciate the way I am and to feel better on a daily basis.
Sounds like a bunch of excuses everybody's got something they're dragging around that's trying to keep them down and I've known plenty of short guys that had plenty in life. Usually in life we make a lot of our own problems and it's usually not something we can see or admit too. Be honest with yourself and do some self reflection and don't blame anyone else just think of your part and you'll probably find your answer. I doubt very seriously that you can blame it on your height alone. I don't know you but from what you wrote it sounds like you're bitter and are probably judging people before you give them a chance and are coming off like a jerk. One of my best friends is short and I have mad respect for him and I've even seen when he's let himself feel insecure about his height and I don't like him much when he gets that way but the good out ways the bad by far and I've only seen him act that way a couple times. I'm a good size guy I'm 6-2 and about 230 I'm strong and protective over my friends so I don't let nobody bully him but I've only seen it happen once and I started fuckin with the asshole that was trying to bully him so maybe that's the difference but I'd say it's a personality issue with you. I'm not trying to be an asshole just being honest with the info given which isn't much so probably stop letting this shit get in your head and you're probably a cool enough guy. So be the cool guy not the bitter guy

This is the sort of stuff that spreads the height issue. One-upping other women because "my man is taller." What an outrage would occur if a man did that with something like breast size or overall hotness.
That's fine, but I'm simply pointing out the way you chose to do it comes with the cost of spreading the idea that taller men are more desirable than shorter. There are other ways.
One should not hate the player but hate the game. To explain what I mean by that, it means individual women are not responsible for their own biology just as men are not. A short guy can do nothing about this. He can still interact with the world around him and get out of it what he can with knowledge of the disadvantages his limitations give him. Being angry or disrespectful towards women and other will men serve him no purpose. If he wants any respect at all given to him, he will give it to others.
I would love to meet these so called short men hating women because just because a woman has preferences doesn't match she absolutely hates and despises short men. And if anything I see more men bitching about height and being short on here more than women do.

I don't hate woman but look I'm shorter than most woman and one time I had a female friend we where chatting about my height and shit and she just randomly said your too short for. Women don't have as much reasons to bitch about short men. They're not the ones getting rejected or bullied for being short. However, I've noticed if you go around asking women whether they would date a short man, many of them would say no and a good handful of them are quite unempathetic about it, to put it mildly. Even those post's responses has at least one of those.

I'm 5'6", which is shorter than average for most places. And I don't hate women, nor is my height any excuse to do so. In fact, I generally got along with women, and I've never had any comments on my height from them either.

I’m 5ft 2in and it’s just not worth the effort I have been disrespect while showing respect more times than I can count. If you need incentive, it's not respect. Also who want respect from someone who is still sore about being bullied in middle school? I got bullied in highschool. I still find out about people calling me names in grade 12. It doesn't bug me though because I know that it just a couple jerks.

Well, I'm a short guy and I've done fine with women. I have a great girlfriend, a great family, and it has never been an issue for me at all.
I can kind of see why some get a little like this however. Short guys get a lot of shit no matter what they do. But I think that letting it bother you too much and becoming bitter about it will only make you more miserable. The only reason it has never been a problem for me is because I have a thick skin.
I'm afraid ma dude. On a serious note, I have seen contradictions short guys who are loved by all and dated pretty (girls which happened to be pretty) and even not so great looking short guys who have dated extraordinary.

I honestly would prefer a short man, I don't know why there's a "stigma" attached to it. Not all girls or guys want the same thing either, I dont know maybe it's just me lol.
Thank you for your service. I think if society was such that it praised short men, we'd live in a differen't world. Only reason most women care so much about a tall man is because it's been prepetated in our society as an ideal, a status symbol. You can't really use the argument that it's in our evolution because examining hunter-gatherer tribes like the Hazda, we find they don't care nearly as much about height as we do. It's very much a socially driven thing.
Why would a girl worry about it? They're not the ones being rejected for it. They have no experiences about it that they can use to relate to the problem. Even if they're a short girl, that's actually seen as a good thing.
